Visited places...
Greetings! Dear read.cash members. A visit to a strange destination becomes memorable when we spent quality time with family exploring the two ends - the best and the worst. The visit to this destination called "Ooty" was only for three days. But the memories we carried along with us, will certainly last long.
As planned, we arranged for a mini bus with a tour guide. It was a 30 seater capacity bus. Before the halt of each destination a brief introduction was given to us about the place by the tour guide. Our first visit was to the "Boat club" where we get to go for a boat ride with a minimal cost. Either we get a motor boat or single row boat at our choice.
Just nearby the boat club was an articial flower show - the speciality of this show was the flowers were being handmade by around 1200 women in 10 years. They were made out of yarn and different variety of cloth materials.
Later on we were taken to Lamb's peak. Here we go trekking to the mountain peak. Why it's called Lamb's peak is because of its shape in the form of lamb. From the peak you can have a glance down to see the trees covered with mist. On the way back we saw lot of monkeys running around and playing. All the people were careful with their mobiles as we were told that the monkeys are smart enough to snatch the mobiles.
Another important and interesting fact prevails still in this place. It is the existence of steam engine. We get an opportunity to travel in it for a minimum of 3 hrs. The interesting fact of the steam engine was it halts in 4-5 stations for nearly 10 minutes to fill water in its engine. To watch this interesting process everone alights from the train to have a glance of it. Because all these were in text books once upon a time. This started during the regime of Britishers in India in late 1800's. Still its being followed.
Hope you enjoyed my articles. Your valuable comments are appreciated.

That's must have been a very enjoyable trip. And amazing that steam engine train is still operational there. That is fantastic!
