Eid is over...let blessings continue
A platform where we are encouraged, where we feel our presence still exists, where we are being often responded and respected with soothing words, where we keep waiting for new articles and replies for our own articles...all these happens only here at read.cash. Greetings! to all my dear friends, well-wishers, up-voters, commentators, subscribers and more so, my lovely sponsors. I felt a break was necessary so just stayed away.
Fine let us come to the topic. Ramadan a blessed month just started only a few days ago . At the blink of an eye, the fasting days are over. Eid is a day to rejoice with family and friends. Though Eid is over the blessings continue as much as we pray. Let everyone benefit from this blessed eid. I have seen most peoples around our place irrespective of caste, fasting for goodness and healthm
This day is actually mentioned as Eid Al Fitr. Why it is called so? It is most important to give grains as charity for the people belonging to low income group or the so called minority group. Usually in our place it is given once the dawn breaks. Peoples keep coming in, to get their share of grains.
Once its done, the next is the mass prayer. Usually it takes place in a large area where the men assemble. May be in a large stadium or ground to do the Ramadan prayer. It is told that when the prayer is done in a gathering the rewards are quite high.
After the prayer they greet each other, wishing each other "happy eid". Heavy non-vegetarian feast is prepared and friends and relatives are invited to share the moment. A real moment where happiness is shared with the lovely food. Most of all its a public holiday. So relatives from far away place get to join their family, on this particular occasion.
If I had to talk about the food its usually the spicy biriyani they make in most house hold. Its spicy because it includes spices like hot chillies, ginger and garlic. Apart from this to add aroma to the food, we add cardamoms, cloves, bay leaves and cinnamon sticks. The biriyani is made either of lamb or chicken or beef. A sweet savory is prepared to give a final touch.
After a rigorous 30 days fasting with less food and water for a stipulated period of time, when we go for the celebration it is supposed ro be a legendary moment. Let the blessings continue to all those good peoples.
As of now I believe you got a vague picture of what Eid is all about.
