A short journey

A visit to a nearby place with my family is memorable one and ofcourse, a break from my busy schedule. Be you are a homemaker, a working person, an entrepreneur etc. etc. a break should be a break just for you.

The place we visited was an adventure park with some old buildings consisting of a small library, some antiques, a small coffee shop with a big tree surrounded by a cemented seating arrangement.. A feel of great great ambience ! As the vacation continues the park was crowded with lot of families with elderly people and children moving around.

To get into the adventure park we need to purchase tickets. In the park we have lot of adventurous rides. Riding cycle in ropes at a short distance connected from one tree to another , rope climbing _ where the ropes are connected from the top of one tree to the centre of another tree. Boating is another sport. Most of them are motor boats. Row boats were few in number. When we went to the counter, the que for purchasing tickets was quiet a lengthy one. Às our entry to the park was by evening we didn't want to spent time standing in the long que. So we decided to get into the coffee shop.

A view of the coffee shop where we had some tea and hot Banana fry. The place was so serene and the waitors of the shop were youngsters who were welcoming the guests with their energetic smile. Adjacent to this was a small library with few collections.

Few collections of some antiques were displayed ina small room. All were in the form of cups. The library was too small to be photographed with very few collection of books.

This is a portion of the Gallery. Years before in Kerala, here in India, most of the houses were of such style. But now this charm is gone as all are going for contemporary houses. As the roofing here is done with lightweight bricks, it has a cooling effect even during summer season. So cosy home. You never need a fan or cooler during summer season also. Such was the comfort.

It was such fun to watch this brother duos play in the swing, right in front of the coffee shop. They were also one of the visitors.

This is a wall painting done in the entrance of the art gallery. It was actually painted in all the three sides with the same repeat. I just captured a part of it in my mobile.

As the new variant is gradually increaing in our place, night curfews are imposed from 3oth December. Its just for four days to avoid the new year rush. The government felt its better for the peoples to stay at home rather than travel.
