NAMIB DESERT
The Namib Desert is one of the oldest, most beautiful in the world, Namib means "vast" in the Nama language. The desert spans a wide area of land in the Western coast of southern Africa; touching parts of countries such as Angola, Namibia, and South Africa.
The desert is undeniably one of the most beautiful in the world but beyond it's beauty, it would shock you to know this, many animals such as lions, elephants, black rhinos, mountain zebras, gemsbok and plants such as the Welwitschia Plants have managed to not just survive but thrive in this desert, which is one of the driest places on the planet; this is indeed a miracle.
Despite the harsh weath conditions of this desert (temperature can reach as high as 60°C during the day and below 0°C at night), i will still love to see the perfectly formed sand dunes (over 300m) and the amazing wildlife of this incredible desert someday.
