MAJOR CAUSES OF DIVORCE

Among the causes of divorce in the society are enumerated as follows:

Firstly,

The greatest mistake a man can make in his lifetime is marrying the wrong person, someone whose aqeedah, manhaj, thinking and way of life are entirely different from yours.

If care is not taking, he may lose his aakhiroh as a result of that or he remained bereaved for the rest of his life.

Also , one of the causes of divorce is marrying someone and trying to change his aqeedah, manhaj and way of life to yours.

It causes a lot of headache. It doesn't work most of the time.

One may remain bereaved for the rest of his life. If you don't see the type of man or woman you want to marry, don't be in haste to marry simply because others are marrying and you also want to be among. This will lead you to take the wrong steps which might cost you your world and hereafter. Be prayerful, exercise patient and do not lose hope. Allah will surely grant you the best in Shaa Allah.

Allah says:

Do not despair of the mercy of Allah.

If you are yet to see the kind of woman you want , engage in fasting for this is a shield(against committing zina) as reported by Abdullah Ibn mas'ud.

Moreover, the incessant irresponsibility of the man is also one of the major causes of divorce.

It is an act of irresponsibility for the man to share his responsibility with the wife. Why will a responsible man do that. Man is to take care of financial , welfare and security aspect on his family. Though it is not wrong If the wife assists on the financial and welfare aspect, but wrong for the man to claim share of responsibility. Audhu billaahi min dhaalik.

The greatest mistake a woman can make is to marry an irresponsible man. May Allah make the irresponsible men responsible ones.

May Allah continue to guide the already responsible ones.

Finally, the insubmissiveness of the wife is also among the major causes, infact this hastens divorce the most. If a wife is not submissive, Hmmm, the man don enter one chance oo.

May Allah grant the single and searching ones, divorcees, widows and widowers the best. May he protect the marriages of the married ones.
