How do people become dictators?
Hello friends, have you ever wondered why people in power become dictators?
There are many examples in history when a president from the people becomes a dictator. This usually happens when a person has been in power for a long time. There are several examples of dictators in modern history: Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko and Russian President Vladimir Putin. They have been in power for more than 20 years and do not allow opposition.
Many believe that an experienced politician is better than a person without experience in power. Perhaps this is good for the country as a whole, but not for the people. Because people's rights are being violated. And that's terrible in the 21st century.
Why did Russia attack Ukraine?
The day before the war, Russian President Vladimir Putin recorded an appeal in which he told the story of the Russian and Ukrainian people. He declared that these peoples were of the same blood. We have a common history and a common religion. In general, we are one people.
It was the mistake of the Russian president. Because there will never be freedom in Russia. And Putin hates Ukraine for it. He wanted to put a puppet government here that would fulfill all his requirements.
Ukrainians, Russians and Belarusians are three different peoples. We are united only by a common history. But the traditions are different and the mentality is different. When Zelensky came to power, Putin called him a "good artist." And he did not perceive Zelensky as the president of a free country. He believed that a president from the people of Ukraine could not decide the issues of a free country. Today we see how the people of Ukraine have united. There are many volunteers who have taken up arms to defend their home. And Putin did not expect this. I hope the dictator ends soon.
