the carabao is the national animal of the philippines. It symbolizes strength, power, efficiency, perserverance and hard work.

The Carabao also called as water buffalos is considered as faithful partners of the Filipino. Aside form helping the farmers plow the field, it provides transporation and a source of meat and milk.
