Oil palm is a type of plant that belongs to the GENUS ELAEIS and ORDO ARECACEAE. This plant is used in commercial agriculture to produce palm oil. Palm oil is also an industrial plant as raw material for producing cooking oil, industrial oil and fuel. My country is the largest palm oil producer in the world

A little article about palm oil above. I am an actor as well as a farmer who depends on the thorny fruit but brings happiness to our family, I know oil palm since 2007 until now. From starting to plant until now feel the results. This plant from planting to fruiting takes about 4 to 5 years to bear fruit. It has been almost 13 years for our family to live from the fruit of palm oil, from our several hectares of land we earn approximately 5 -9 million per month. and does not include additional income when I work in the garden of relatives or friends so the income can be more than that.

The sharpness of the palm thorns can cause serious injuries if not handled properly, can cause severe pain and can even cause titanus because the palm thorns are large and quite long, even a person can be stabbed as deep as 2cm, if it is so the pain is unbearable Again, the cause is not because palm thorns are poisonous or thorny, but rather an infection from germs, bacteria, fungi or pathogens that enter the skin layer.

In fact, I have experienced swelling in my legs for almost 2 months, as a result of being exposed to dry palm tree midrib thorns. But even so the risks and causes experienced in working in the world of oil palm farmers, AND can be maximized by the beauty of tempting money.

From the results of oil palm, we are now able to get a house, a vehicle and can send our children in the family to a higher level of education. Hopefully in the future our children can become children who can be proud and useful for the nation FROM the sweet palm fruit but spiked.
