What does it mean to show love to your neighbour? It means to treat them in ways you want others to treat you. The problem with this is that people have little self-worth for themselves. Beside, many people do not know how they are meant to be treated. Some people also lack self-respect for themselves. If you do not know how to treat yourself right, you will not know how to treat your neighbours right. The Bible encourags us to treat our neighbors right because this is what God expects from us. Gos wants us to love Him but before we can achieve that, we have to love our neighbors. If we cannot love our neighbors whom we see with both eyes, how can we claim to love God who we cannot see?
