Break from Indolence today
A lazy or slothful person has no relevance in life. They are always a burden to people around them, they are not productive economically or other aspects thereby making them a liability.
This set of idle people don't always like to work, they always see work as some sort of punishment. They are always unwilling to face difficult tasks, they only thinks about the present and not the future. A lazy or indolent person finds utmost satisfaction in just resting and doing absolutely nothing. At the end of the day, they always blame other hardworking persons as if they are responsible for their woes.
If you consider the ways of the ants even though they are tiny creatures, those creatures works tirelessly to give themselves comfort and also make provision for the future in case of unexpected events. The ant is always busy even as a tiny creature. What excuse then do you have to be lazy?
Many have already been trapped in the webs of indolence and they are looking for possible ways to get out of it. I will be mentioning some solutions (medicine) that will help you stop being indolent and lazy.
1. Leave your comfort zone
Some people will not fully understand the meaning of life since they are still in their comfort zone. Staying in the comfort zone incapacitate someone making him to be lazy. A person still living with his or her parents, eating free meal everyday without no hassle will find it difficult to work, they can't simply connect the dots. They justified that act of indolence on the basis that all their needs will always be met by their parents so why do they need to work again. Indolent people always have unreasonable excuses to defend their slothfulness.
Determination and focus is needed to break away from idleness. Make up your mind to set for yourself potential goals and objectives. Motivate yourself and also concentrate on your goal. This will help your mind to be positioned in one place and inevitably you will never be distracted. Laziness is not often the way.
2. Always plan your tasks before you embark on them.
Sometimes people become lazy not because they actually want to, but because there is no planning done by them in doing their work. Right planning will help you set out what you want to do, when you want to do it and where. If there's no proper planning, some will keep postponing their tasks till they were overwhelmed by the bulk of tasks on them. A lazy person is a failure, that's why people always say "if you fail to plan, then you are planning to fail". Planning is very essential in our daily activities. It helps in the management of tasks.
3. Perseverance
To be successful and of course to be relevant, one must practice the virtue of perseverance. Indolent person lacks this. One of the attributes of hardworking and diligent people is that they always persevere even in the midst of challenges and oppositions, they are undaunted.
Consider a man with a family to feed and care for, won't he persevere and endure whatever comes in his way to provide food for his family. Those kind of men are always known for their hardworking spirit and endurance. Some became lazy because they are not moving forward in their business or career and therefore become redundant to themselves and the society. They think they can't make it in their chosen field so they become discouraged and eventually indolent.
Consider Abraham Lincoln, he contested for America President many times before he was elected eventually, consider Thomas Edison too. All these people became something because they are willing to persevere and continue moving.
3. Identity the reasons for your slothfulness.
To some, the cause of their indolence is their peer group. It's always profitable to shun such group if you want to advance in life.
Once the causes are identified, make sure you work on them to improve yourself. For some people to break away from idleness, they have to wake up early especially if they have always waking up late before.
Dare to be different, be ready to take calculated risks. The world today has no space for lazy people. Only diligent and smart people occupy great positions in the world today. Get up out of your slumber and work.

Many live their lives thinking they will be here forever, no matter how rich or wealthy a man is, he won't take them all along to his grave. Man's life is like a sun that rises in the morning and before we know it, it's gone by night. The best way to live life is to live positively and affect others in a positive way. Some are so shallow minded that they oppress everyone around them, they don't know that the table of life turns sometimes and favour the oppressed.
I also learnt in the book that people that people who loves money will not be satisfied with money, they keep striving hard to increase their wealth at the expense of the comfort of others. Who knows if all their wealth will go down with them when they die. This is also vanity upon vanity. Why work all the days of your life and someone foolish will take over who will ruin all the work you have laboured for all your life.
I also discovered a grievous evil, the rich always become richer and oppress the poor, the bad people live longer while the good people are cut off unexpectedly. Is that fair? Karl Max who decides to introduce equality between the society whereby there's no monopoly of economic power in anybody, is that theory still applicable now?
Life is all but a struggle, the little comfort you can derive from this life is the food you eat from your hard labour. We are always happy when we finally work very hard and we are also the ones to enjoy what we have worked hard for. But what does man gain by all the toil at which he toils under the sun. All is vanity upon vanity.
With great observation have I often wondered the vanity of life. A poor person will assume that he can only be happy when he is rich, he thinks wealth guarantees happiness. The greater the money, the bigger the problem. If money guarantee happiness and peace in this life, then all billionaires and millionaires we have will be swimming in the ocean of joy and tranquility. But alas, not all wealthy individuals are happy. The more you struggle in life, the more the troubles. That's why all these Buddhist monks who say they are enlightened professed that you have to stop struggling to gather materiality if you want to be happy. They further said life is full of sufferings amidst other truths.
The preacher also mentioned the importance of time in our lives, he emphasized that there's time for everything in this life. Do what is needed to do at the right time of your life, it's always grievous paying back heavily in your old age the mistakes you committed during your youth days. Sometimes you see aged men and women still working when they suppose to be resting. You then wondered why this is so, some of them used all their youthful days to play, some didn't bother to take care of the children that will later care for them in the future.
The last chapter talks on acknowledging God in all we do, because God will reward everyone according to their works, if you are doing good continue to do so. Make God the Lord over your soul, remember your God while you are still young and agile before you grow old and find no pleasure in life anymore.
There are deep truths in the book if Ecclesiastes, all these are just summary and brief description. Don't take life too serious, dead people will be forgotten by us after a short time they have ceased to live, same will be done to us too after we are long gone.

Marriage crash often, why?
Today I am going to be talking on other reasons why marriages often crash even though the couple promised each other Heaven and Earth on the start of their marital journey. But it's often saddening and disheartening to know that many marriages of beautiful start crumbles along the way. Other reasons include the following;
1. Deviation from expected roles in the family.
Many marriages collapse today because the husband or the wife is not living up to his or her responsibility in the house. You see, marriage only works through cooperation and empathy between husband and wife. There will always be a problem if one of the two is deviating from his or her role. Take for instance, the husband is expected to take care of the family and the kids if there are in terms of financial provision, at least to a satisfying level. Now in a situation whereby the husband doesn't provide for his family, he doesn't provide food to the table, is divorce not looming? The wife will one day think of him as a liability and sue him for divorce since he's not useful or doing what is expected of him. Same for the wife also, a wife would is not performing her expected roles in the marriage will see her marriage crumble right before her eyes. Some women will still deny their husband sex even if that's all what she is offering in the marriage. Wouldn't such men be provoked to end the marriage, is that too much to ask for?
Once two people come together for a union, they have to know that to make it work, they all have individual roles to play.
2. Pride
This mostly happens among women. Once they earned equally or more than their husbands pay, they become arrogant and proud to their men. In such instance, marriage can only work if the man is matured and very patient. But can all men allow this?
Men hold respect a high esteem and they can do anything to maintain their respect. A woman who is always proud and disrespect her husband won't last long in the marriage, that's why men these days for women of lower class for marriage because they know they won't disrespect or cause them problems in the nearest future. Ever wondered why rich women find it difficult to see husband for themselves easily?
3. When partners are not sexually compatible.
Many have divorced owning to this factor. Some entered into marriage to find out that their partners cannot give birth, some discovered that their husband cannot get them pregnant for one reason or the other. If all these reasons were not taken care of either medically or through other means, they can simply walk away and divorce themselves. That's why it's always important for potential couples to go for medical tests and check their compatibility before embarking on a lifetime course.
4. Immaturity of one or both of the partners.
Sometimes age doesn't come with maturity. A person who has not encountered any life challenges cannot keep and sustains a marriage. That's why it is always important to be matured enough before marrying. Gather experiences and knowledge before you venture into marriage.
Some people who have not been challenged with some crude realities of life will envision marriage as something that guarantee everlasting happiness or that they cannot never be sad once they marry or marital life is always blooming like the bed of roses.
Make sure you and your partner are matured psychologically, physically, mentally and all other wise. Marriage sometimes challenge couples that all they need is maturity and diplomacy to scale through.

Life hacks are necessary important for us. It helps us to scale through easily when confronted with some difficult situations in life. Cutting yourself some slacks for the greater purpose isn't that bad, is it?. There are some tips I want to discuss that can help the journey of life to be smoother, in relationship wise, career wise and all other aspects. Sometimes to get something quickly done, you have to know the right approach to make it happen. I will be enunciating some of them below.
1. Sometimes to be more valuable and worthwhile, practice the habit of making yourself scare. A scarce object is usually held in great value and esteem. Sometimes you have to increase your value by making yourself scarce from people. The reason why money is valuable is not because it can buy things, it's because of its scarcity. People work very hard to get money. Ever imagine how people respect and regard people they have seen for a long period of time, that's exactly what I am talking about. This can help someone in some of the life's adventures. If you are not always welcomed or valued somewhere. Refrain from that place for a little period of time and see how your value increases. No wonder some people do say that when you have something in your custody, you don't value it until you lost that thing..
2. Never assume power if you can't live up to its responsibility.
People do say "with great power comes a great responsibility". Why will you give yourself unnecessary headaches by acquiring power without being responsible or capable. Power is only given to people who are ready to accept responsibility. Sometimes it's better to be in your kingdom than to shame yourself outside on a position of power. You also imagine all those abuses being hurled at leaders who does live up to their responsibility, can you fathom the shame?. Consider the scenario of some of our leaders that are on the run now since the protests started in Nigeria.
3. Learn to give out for the purpose of Receiving.
This virtue is very important, though many people will ask you to give out money easily without expecting anything in return, but is that always the case? Can you give out money without expecting in return even if it is some just kind of appreciation from the receiver. When you give out money to people free, you put them under some kind of a situation whereby they will want to pay you back for your kindness. In this way, you can employ them to work for you once you need help. Trust me they will be willing to assist you too, because you have helped them before. People who showered with money or any help will feel obligated to also assist you in the moment of your need.
4. Surround yourself with people more wise and intelligent than you.
Even the bible advises this, the bible say Iron sharpen iron. You would not want to surround yourself with mediocres because you will become one eventually. Get this right, this hack is important in all aspects of life; In your workplace or your company, employ staffs that are more sound and intelligent than you, with this high productivity is assured. Associating with intelligent minds will make you prosperity quickly than one who surrounded himself with dummies. That's why you see a third class certificate holder employing first class graduates in their business. Such people are smart and they understand what that means.
5. Trust Little
Only God is worthy of complete trust. People who trust easily and completely are the one who cry the most in relationships when there's break-up. You will do yourself a lot of good if you only trust yourself. Even if you will trust anyone, let them prove to you that they are worthy of your trust. Many people have been brought low in life as a result of wrong trust. Many have committed suicide because they are disappointed they trusted the wrong person. Use your head when dealing with people. The heart of man is deep, who can draw it out? People are deceptive and cunny. You have to keep a straight mind also.

Why marriages crash today?
Marriage is a sacred act, a union between a man and a woman coming together for the purpose of companionship, mutuality and procreation among many other aims. This is to show that marriage precisely is very much needed or essential as it have its part in the continuous survival of human race. Marriage rites differs across different religions, geographic locations. It also differs based on the diverse beliefs of people towards marriage. Notwithstanding, marriage is an institution promoted by many in the world today. Actually it's a lifelong establishment. People have been marrying before we came to the world and also will continue to do while we are gone. In this part of the world today, marriage is seen as an achievement most especially with ladies and they are often fond of it.
Looking at marriage in its splendorous image will be seen as something that is perfect and that people that engage in marriage often enjoy and feel fulfilled more than their single counterparts. Though this is supposed to be true, but is it always true, is marriage an avalanche into happiness and peace of mind?
Marriage of nowadays now have more divorce rates than that of the olden days long before us. We can't help but wonder why people get it all wrong today. We believe that our forefathers and mothers were being able to keep their marriage running smooth and have less divorce than contemporary times. I will be sharing my points on some of the reasons while people divorce each other and why marriage crashes today.
1. Lack of love
Although it might sound a bit strange but not all marry their partners because of love. One of the things that sustains marriage is mutual love. Some marry not because of love but because of personal interest, some marry because they see the wealth of their partner and the best way they think of to enjoy the money is to marry that person. Now considering this,you will see that the marriage is likely to crumble later probably when the motivating factor- money runs out of hand. They begin to hate each other and they may eventually divorce one another. Hypergamy has killed more marriages than it has helped. Once you marry for love and not for materiality, you have a better chance at keeping your marriage lasting.
2. Cheating or Adultery
This cause contribute to more than fifty percent of all divorce rates we have in the world today. An obvious cheater can't keep a marriage, it will surely crumble. People do cheat on their partners for many reasons but the end result of that act is not always palatable. Many have even killed their partners who engage in the very act of adultery because many can't simply take it in. That's why it's advisable to always know your partner sexual wise before you marry them. Don't assume a spinster who is a prostitute will change once she marry. Someone said old habits die hard. It's better to be loyal to your spouse because it is for the good of you too. Celebrity marriages are always believed by people not to last owning to a cause like this.
3. Lack of emotional intelligence
A person who lacks intelligence or is immature will find it hard to keep a marriage. Staying together in a marriage require diplomacy between the partners. We are not the same in character, strength etc. Partners should be able to strike the balance between their imperfections and work on it. A wife can be a lousy person while the husband is very reserved. They should respect each other differences and should never push each other to the wall. Marriage requires patience. You need to have a lot of patience in your marriage if you want it to thrive. Many have lost their marriage to impatience. Ability to control one's anger in the heat of argument is a very good virtue people should try to emulate. Don't be a wife beater or trying to form James bond. It's not always worth it at the end.

The Holy Communion, what costed Christ?
One of the ordinances established in Baptist denomination is the Holy Communion or the breaking of bread among many others. The holy Communion represent the last meal eaten by Jesus Christ and his disciples before he ascended to heaven. He ordered the sacred act to continue till he comes back again for his second coming.
As we all know that from the ages past after the death of Christ to these contemporary times, the holy communion has always been practised to keep us in order for the coming of Christ and to keep his commandments. The bread signifies the body of Christ which went all the way to the calvary for our redemption, while the wine represent the blood of Jesus Christ that was shed for our sins. Even though this practice has been held sacred for many years. It is evident that christians do not hold the act sacred again. They have lost the purpose to which it is established. They have even forgotten what it cost our savior. We have often ignored the fact that the holy communion to which we eat on a very easy platter costed Christ many things more than two hundred years ago. Let us look at some of those things that costed Jesus.
1. HIS RIGHTS
Let us check out this scenario, if an heir to a king were to be born, where do you think such king will fancy for his child to be born? Obviously it will have to be the nicest of places, the best hospital handled by the best medical personnel. The child bearing process will have to be handled with utmost care because beneath it all lies a great personality who will not entertain any sort of shortcomings but does that applied to Jesus Christ? Jesus Christ as our king and Lord has every right to be born in a noble place during his birth, to be handled with care by the best doctors and nurses around then but he didn't do so, something else occurred, he was born in an animal manger. Sometimes we read the bible shallowly therefore we are unable to understand and process some things. Jesus Christ was named as a lamb of the Lord, is that a mere coincidence to being born in the humblest of places, among lambs. Imagine that humility which is difficult for many of our important personalities to exhibit today. He chose the humble path of being born in a crude way even though he is the Lord of all living, what does that mean to you? Are you also the arrogant one, are you also like the Rich man who can't leave everything for the sake of eternity?
2. HIS GLORY
Consider this, it is always very difficult to leave one's comfort and glories aside and begin a journey of hardness and suffering believe me, many will surely declined that. The bible helped us to envision in a little way the glory to which Jesus enjoyed before coming to earth for redemption of mankind. The Bible says he sit with God on his throne and angels worship him day and night. Who can leave all this for the sake of mortals? The king of Kings has to be stripped low and spit on on the cross, that's humiliating enough.
He was dragged roughly across the road all the way to where he was crucified for our sake. He was derided of his glory and treated like a slave, with disdain. He was crucified for our sake, crucification then is a punishment melted out to hardened criminals but is Jesus one? Crucifying someone necessary connote the fact that the worth of such person has been taken away for him and he had to die miserably too. Thank God that Jesus Christ do not step down even in the heat of all these sufferings, if not where would we have been today, would we have the authority to step on snakes and announce that we are still the children of God. Walking with Christ means leaving everything and everything alone, that's why some are unable to follow Christ, they are not ready to let it all. Christianity is about laying down your life to Christ. A pastor will preached and ask if anybody wants to accept and give their life to Christ, don't you see the connection already?.

For some couple of weeks now, there has been agitation and pandemonium in Nigeria as there was unanimous decision to end Sars. The main reason for this is the brutality to which they are using to impose their selfish wills on the citizens of my dear country, Nigeria. There have been several cases of Sars officers killing innocent Nigerians who are always taken as fraudsters in disguise. They have really deviated from their roles and their specific duties from protecting people to killing them, can you imagine that atrocity?
What really broke my heart was the day I lost one of a friend who also believed in a better Nigeria to the hand of the police. Prior to when the protest started, Sars has been harassing people most especially Youths and ladies. Much can be said on how these vile creatures detain and sexually harassed ladies because they think they have the authority to make whatever they like. I heard of a lady just of recent who lost her right legs courtesy of the Sars, where are we going in this country? During the course of this peaceful protest, many lives has gone, many lives have been taken again by police just because people are exercising on their fundamental human rights. Just last week, three able bodied youths who have a better life to live ahead of them were killed by police during the protest. This was not only the case in my area, much was been said in other states across the country.
Like I have always believed and still believing, The Government of this country has really failed her citizens and the inevitable is gradually approaching. I see revolution coming with full force, restructuring from the highest down to the lowest in the country. I believe this present government is not ready to be empathic, it doesn't have the interest of the masses in mind, so therefore we youths are also ready to release ourselves from this captivity of the gullible leaders who don't give a .. about what we are passing through as citizens. All they are after is how to fill their pockets.
When you look at all these, you wondered how all these have managed to happen in a country with law and order. This is to show that the government is not interested or affected by whatever happens to the citizens, they proved this right when we call on the disbandment of Sars and all they could do is to scrap the unit momentarily and gave us another Sars unit under the disguise of naming it SWAT. Infact, I am tired of this country, what they didn't remember was that our eyes has become more clearer and we are not gullible as they expected we would be.
This protest should be taken serious by all and sundry in the country, don't sit down because you haven't been affected or brutalised by these animals. Let us stand up to revolution now because it's now or ever. How can you just stop a person on the road and shoot him because he wore a fancy clothes or because he has a ride? Many important personalities and celebrity has taken on the course to bring about revolution and restructuring in the country, sometimes ago it was all about Sars disbandment but now it has escalated more beyond that, we want a change in government, we want new dawn upon ourselves. They can't keep fooling us again, many lives has been lost to this fight with the government not taking any concrete step.
I can now understand that it's love and unity that can help us achieve this purpose of bringing about the better Nigeria we all fancy. People has been providing food and other support to #endsars protesters to keep them going, this is the evidence of love. I heard about a young boy who donated his puff puff free to the protesters. Posterity will never forget him and all other gallant activists who have participated in this protest. Love, unity and cooperation is what we need now to achieve our aim, let us put aside our differences and let us work together for a better future. I believe Nigeria will be great again. Corruption will be a thing of the past and righteousness which exalt a nation will finally find its way in our country.

**Inconsistency in choosing career**
Dealers of all trades, master in none. This act won't help someone to accumulate wealth or be rich. Inconsistent people are not always making it right. Some think any business venture or career they ventured in should bring fast profits to them without waiting for long. Credible and popular business which we all see around us are not built to that standard in a day. It took a lot of efforts and time to build that Goodwill.
Do not hasten to change that business because it's not booming as you expect, look for ways to enhance that career or business. If you are always changing careers or business, you can't gather any tangible money as you will be spending your capital regularly on other business.
**Inability to Save**
Even though human wants are numerous and insatiable, yet the importance of savings cannot be overemphasized. Savings in itself won't make you rich, only the right investment can. It's always important to save that part of your income for investments. There are sometimes that a financial opportunity will present itself right before your eyes. Now if you have enough savings at hand, you can use it to meet that opportunity and your wealth will be increased at the end of the day.
Also many people mistake the concept of savings. You don't save to buy liabilities (things that won't make money for you) later. Savings is always for investment. A wise man once said "A part of all I earned is for me to keep". Keep a proportion out of your income. Savings don't kill you, it even helps to spend judiciously.
**Unemployment**
It's a known fact that been unemployed is always a determinant factor of poverty. An unemployed person will struggle financially as there are no means to satisfy his basic needs. People must be ready to add value to themselves to enable them to gain employment. People should harness skills that can bring money to them. Certificates don't pay any more as there are more people than jobs available. An unemployed person is a threat to his country since he can do anything illegal to earn a living.
In conclusion, buy assets not liabilities. This is one of the ways to break free from poverty. Buy what will bring money for you again, not what will collect money from you. Shares is an asset because it can give you returns which is much more than your initial capital. Assets such as landed properties, houses can be acquire and use to get money. Sometimes people are happy because they think they have many properties whereas most of the properties are liabilities.
Many boost of their nice clothes, dresses, etc. These are all good but know that all that are liabilities. Don't invest or spend recklessly on liabilities. Take for instance, A cab driver can buy another cab not for show offs but to make more money as an asset. That cab can be driven by another employee of him and it will bring profits for the owner.
Don't spend ostentatiously, inculcate the habits of savings too, all these things are important. Don't be lazy, lazy people don't get anywhere far in life.
Government should also try to help it's citizens. Jobs should be provided so that poverty level will be reduced. Some also have the necessary skills they need to make money but no capital, government can also assist in this aspect. Reduction in Poverty rate will boost a country's economy and makes it haven for investments both small and large.

Why some people keep getting poorer(part one)
No matter how some people aspire to be rich or struggle to gather wealth, they will keep on getting poorer why? Even though Government sometimes has a say in the poverty level of a country, sometimes people themselves are the real ones that are attracting poverty to themselves either consciously or unconsciously. Poverty can simply means lacking the means to satisfy our basic needs such as food, shelter and clothings. In a layman term, poverty means having little or no money to take care of numerous wants and expense
Poverty is a mindset that needs to be solved, if only some would try to think themselves out of their shallow mind which believe that poverty is only caused by government and them alone
They refused to take responsibility for their actions. Some of the reasons why people may get poorer and more everyday are listed below;
1. **Extravagant or reckless Spending**
Sorry, but for some have got bad spendings, they spend lavishly and extravagantly without a steady source of income. This type of people will spend more beyond their means and later go bankrupt. They're the ones that will be showing off at parties, they won't spend based on their means or earnings. Even a rich man can become poor if he didn't checkmate his spendings. Extravagant Lifestyle with no corresponding income will result to poverty eventually. Even all these rich people we know spend meaningfully
Why, because it's not easy getting money.
2. **Laziness**
Oh my God, some are so lazy to the bones. They will sit down at home sleeping and be expecting money to come, how come? This type of people can sleep and compete with the dead about who sleeps longer. These people may have the necessary things they needed to break free from the shackles of poverty but they're so lazy. They are the able-bodied people who can work that we all have around us but they choose to be walking around aimlessly with no purpose in mind. According to one quote in the book of The Richest Man in Babylon, it said "Wealth grows wherever men exerts energy". Now you are not working or either productive, how do you want to make it in life, tell me! Even the Bible commands us to work harder and smarter, God frowns at lazy people that he even said no food for whosoever do not work.
3. **Lack of Financial Education**
This is in two phases, a person might go to school, got a degree even Masters and PhD but he might lack knowledge on how money works; financial literacy. Financial Literacy is not taught in schools, if it were so, all Universities graduates will have become rich. Financial literacy can be achieved through personal learning adventure and reading books that can help to understand some of the ways how money works for you and not you working for money, that's a difference between the two. Another person can be ignorant totally on basic education and financial education. Financial Education will teach you how to sight opportunities that can make you earn more and also teach you how to utilize them.
4. **Wrong notion of money**
This type of problem can only be solved through the orientation of the mind as a result of the fact that the problem comes as a result of wrong belief or notion about money. This type of people won't do anything to make themselves rich. It's not that they're lazy. They believe that too much money is not good generally. They are the vanity crew who will be saying money is not everything, yet they wake up early to go to work the following day because of what... Money, those that will tell you that money is the root of all evils, but has someone told them that not having money is also the root of a greater evils. These people confined themselves to a low lifestyle. They believe they're okay once they have something to put in their belly but I bet life goes a long way than that.
4. **Lack of birth control**
This causal factor is very rampant in African countries. Some believe rearing and storing up children is very beneficial to themselves. When there are too many children on ground with enormous expenses to cater for without a sizable means, won't there be a problem? Apart from the effect of this act on a nation's population, it can even cause famine in the long run.
Having children is a gift from God but it shouldn't be mismanaged. It's advisable to give birth to a number you can conveniently afford to cater for. Don't let children be the source of your poverty. Cut your clothes according to your site.
5. **Addiction to gambling, drug**
Addiction to gambling is very bad. It reeks of bad manners. To begin with, don't think you can get a sustainable wealth through gambling. Check the list of the richest people in the world, who among them has gambling as his source of income. Money you didn't work for will fly away in a twinkle of an eye. That's one of the rules of money.
Money that can be used productively and legally to make more money, you are placing it as bets, who is fooling you?
Spending money on gambling, alcohol and drugs is one of the surest ways to be poor. Keep on with it and I can guarantee you that you will become so poor that you will feel sorry for yourself.
These are the contents for the first part. Second part will be discussed later. Opinions and criticism are allowed.
Political Apathy (using Nigeria as a case study)
You might have wondered why you see some people always displaying nonchalant attitude to the general affairs of the government of their state or of the nation. You have often wondered why and what term you can use to describe such act. Remind you to know that such people will not vote during elections, will not participate during census counting and so on like that.
Political Apathy simply put is a situation whereby people has no interest in the political and governmental affairs in their country or state. They don't have anything to do with with politics in their country. If a government is doing good or bad, they won't encourage or even critize good and bad government respectively.
Political apathy cuts across everywhere, even though this might be high or low depending on some critical factors. Various forms or ways in which a person can exhibit political apathy includes;
1. Having a wrong belief or notion about participants in politics.
2. Low turnout on election day - when people don't want to vote on election day.
3. Refusal to register and vote or be voted for.
4. Refusal to protest against rigging of election.
5. Refusal to join political parties.
6. Reluctance to discuss political issues.
Let us check some of the causes of why people lack interest and motivation to participate in the political affairs of their country.
1. Bad Governance: People won't be motivated to participate in political affairs when there is bad governance. Bad governance in the sense of not taking into consideration the interest of the masses, ruling undemocratically.
2. Illiteracy: This can also facilitate apathy towards the government. When people are not literate or know what they need to know to ensure their proper participation. Illiteracy could include not knowing the fundamental human rights.
3. Poverty and Unemployment: Some believe that it's only when they are financially okay and well that they can have time to participate in political affairs. They termed participation in politics a waste of time if one is being unemployed.
4. Wrong notion that politics is a dirty game.
5. Insecurities during elections
6. Rigging of election
7. Unfulfilled political promises.
8. Laziness on the part of the masses.
Let us look at some of the ways political apathy can be stopped or discouraged.
1. Knowing, understanding and exercising our rights.
2. Participation in Elections or voting.
3. Writing to elected politicians.
4. Joining a political party or pressure groups
5. Encouraging friends, relatives and neighbours to vote.
6. Introduction of Civic and political education.
Conclusively, Political apathy is a phenomenon which should be eradicated among people in a state. When people come together for the interest of the government in their mind, progress and good governance is assured. Hope I motivated a mind today.

Respect others, it doesn't reduce you.
There are some categories of people who always think they are the best and that nobody can become like them. This is often so when some of this people has attained a very high position in life. They look down and disrespect others. They even mock them of their plight.
Respect as they say is reciprocal, much being said, no matter how small a person is, he or she will feel bad if you disrespect or look down on him. People has always been the subject of their own plight. People that should have helped you succeed in life, you have successfully disrespected them or make them look inferior. Life is not that way.
I happened to listen to a story of a young man who wants to understand what empathy means, his father happens to be a rich man who wants him(the son) to inherit his company and be running it as age is not on the father's side again.
The man doesn't approve this prestigious post of the overall manager of his father's company immediately, but he summoned his father that he wants to work firstly as a gateman in his father's company for a limited period of time. He stated that the reason was to know his father's employees individually and to assess them of their behavior.
Without much ado, he started as a gateman in the company, working arduously while keeping his personality low. He begins to examine the behavior of all the employees; how many of them often look down and disrespect him because he is just a gateman. They will curse and call him all manners of name asking him to go and die that he can't make it in life. Some would even pushed him with their official car just because he is a gateman earning meagre salary.
Days passed and he can finally deduced through observations those who will do the company good not on the basis of behavior alone but in other aspects too.
The day came for him to be shown as the New general manager. He was taken to the general office for meeting with the other employees, some have already began to be pissed up seeing him with them. Without much story, the old man finally reveal the gateman as the new manager. Trust me mouths went opened by all and sundry but does that matter at all? He emphasized on respect and not looking down on people because of their status. Some of the concerned parties started begging him that he shouldn't sack them that they didn't know he was the son of their employer.
Now my question is this, Should that young man forgive them and retain them or he should sack them. Is there even any importance attached to respecting others.. will be waiting for your honest opinions. Thanks
Don't give up yet, No!
Sometimes we often looked depressed and unhappy if things are not going as we have expected and anticipated. Sorry but Life is like that sometimes, sometimes we are disappointed, we just want to end all things.
But why must you give up when things are not rosy, you don't even know what we happen in the next minute. Pls continue to strive on and don't relent. Giving up is not always the best option. If it were, we wouldn't have see great men like Abraham Lincoln.
To everyone who is passing through some travails or the other. Nothing is permanent. I want to encourage you to persevere, all things will fall in place for you. Don't leave readcash too because of low points 😂😂. It's still a demonstration of not giving up. It ain't going to last forever. Continue to dream that dream, don't relent. Good morning guys.

Do I need a friend?
Sometimes, You may seem lost in the waves of life. Troubles might set in and you are depressed. Some of the ways you can be soothen is through the help of a close friend. Some of us think we are strong and can pull through, but is it always true?.
A close Friend is someone who is ready to be with you through your ups and downs. He is interested in your progress and he is ready to help you. But sometimes we tend to be immersed in our own world, often shrugged off the idea of having a confidant who we can share our woes too.
Even though, Personality sometimes influence how we choose our friends. For instance, An introverted or reserved person doesn't always have much friends. Don't get me wrong. I don't say this type of ppl don't have friends but they always prefer being in their own world without interference. But yet,we should strive and look for that friends who will help us wholeheartedly and vice versa.
Good Friends are like diamonds, Value and appreciate them often. This is my first post in this community. Pls like and motivate me. Thanks for reading.

Have faith in yourself
You may not have what others have, but you have something. You may not be something but that doesn't mean you are nothing. You need to have faith in yourself. It takes confidence and courage to venture into new areas of endeavors or invent new things, and that is what faith in yourself provokes.
Have faith in yourself! Do not be afraid of competition if a need arise for it. When you see your colleagues moving out, you too step out. There's something inside you that your society is waiting for. There is a place for you in the world; go and put your feet there and in no time, you will take root downwards and begin to spread your branches above all your colleagues and peers.
Do not run away from problems, face them and deal with them as they come. The problem you run away from today will resurface in a larger form another time. When you see problems, do not dodge them. They're the raw materials for your lifting. When you confront them you conquer them, but when you dodge, they overcome you. Deferment is a fertilizer of problems. Procrastination is what gives room for escalated problems.
Do not dodge your responsibilities; you have what it takes to handle them. When you do nothing about a simple matter today it becomes hard tomorrow. If you don't solve it when it is hard, it becomes difficult and if it is not dealt with, it becomes impossible. Problems are looking for solutions and the reason they come your way is because they see solutions in you.
Have faith in yourself. Refuse to be intimidated. Learn not to react to challenges, but rather respond to them. So get excited, put your head to work. Believe you can handle the task and go ahead. Be confident because it's one of the key to success..

Processes in Learning (part two)
We talked about two processes involved in learning yesterday which are RECEIVING AND ADAPTING. Today we would be talking on the last two which are ADOPTING AND APPLICATION.
3. ADOPTING
The next stage of think(that is sieving and sorting out the information you have received for comprehension), is adoption. This is about making decisions which now leads to the integration of the acquired information into specific areas of your life to effect improvement
Thinking must ultimately end in decision, because until you decide to do something with the information you have received and thought about it, it remains useless. When thinking is not tied to a decision, it becomes futile since the information cannot be integrated for mental development.
Integration means engrafting information in order to supply the missing part.
4. APPLICATION
Productivity answers only to application of knowledge. The evidence of learning is results. Until you get results, you cannot convince anybody that you have learned anything. You may have several certificates, but nobody will believe you if you have no results to prove their worth. That is why in some major organizations, promotion is awarded according to productivity, instead of paper qualifications. You cannot prove to the world that you are learning except you have proofs to show.
Writing of notes does not necessarily connote learning, but application with evident results does. There is a testimony of someone I know whom I consider a good learner. She got information that you do not pray to increase your money rather you trade with it. She thought about it at home and then began to trade with the sum of #980 that she had. Between February and July, she made a profit of #30000. That is about somebody who learnt a lesson. Another person perhaps wrote it in his notebook but didn't think about it, nor adopt it, so he could not apply it.

Processes involved in Learning (part one)
All of us learn at a particular point in time. Infact we learn everyday. Learning entails personal efforts to acquire more knowledge. Today we will be talking about the processes involved in learning optimally. The process includes; RECEIVING, ADAPTATION, ADOPTING AND APPLICATION. We will be taking that one by one.
1. **RECEIVING**
Before you can learn anything, you must encounter it either through hearing, observation or inquiry
These are the things that initiate the learning process. But I must mention that if you stop at hearing and observing, you will be limited in your learning.
Learners are curious people, always eager to know more, so they go beyond hearing and observing to asking questions. If you are a man of questions, you can't be a man of answers. Ask questions! Why this? How about that? Can this be done some other way? There is a popular saying that everybody saw apples fall from apple tree, but only Isaac Newton asked 'why?'. And as he began to reason along that line, he discovered the Law of Gravity, which brought about such technological advancement in our world today.
2. **ADAPTING.**
Information does not produce results on its own. You must take it through a process of adaptation to make it equal to learning and this process hinges on thinking. Information leads to knowledge, while thinking leads to understanding, because through thinking you sieve, separate, severe and sort out the information you have received so that it can be understood and acted upon. Any knowledge you do not have an understanding of is not useful, because you cannot apply it. Understanding is the link between knowledge and application. There are so many things that people know but do not understand. When you gain knowledge and you understand it, then it becomes easy for you to apply it
And through application, you get results, which is what determines your rating as a wise man.
Until you make it plain, you cannot run with it. Making it plain is about comprehension of the vision through reasoning . This is what we call learning and it is evident by results, growth and changes.

Exercising your mind (Part two)
Your attitude toward challenges is what determines your success or triumph over them. There are two major attitudes that people put up when they are faced with challenges.
The first one is **REACTION.**
Many people react to problems, but this is a negative attitude, because it does not provide solutions to the problems. Apart from leaving you confused, it leads to resentment and then to frustration. Most often, people who reacts to problems always find someone or something to blame for their predicament, not realizing that you only remain lame for as long as you blame.
The second one is **RESPONSE.**
People who respond to challenges are the ones who find solutions easily. When they respond to challenges, you change trials into testimonies, and convert the problems into programs of advancement. But when you react, you complicate issues. Responding rather than reacting create the right atmosphere to finding solutions to problems. Instead of reacting to the needs around you. lnstead of reacting and asking "why?" respond and ask, "how?" Or "what can be done?". That way you are bound to find solutions.
What to do with Challenges
1. "Commonize" Them
Do not **classify** your problem; those who **classify** their problems have **magnified** them. The challenges facing you are common to humanity. Others have overcome the same or even worse situations, so never allow any problem or challenge to take away the smile from your face. Disregard the difficulties and set your self to get the solution that you require.
2. **EMBRACE AND ENGAGE THEM**
Do not run away from challenges. Embrace them and then begin to engage them in a mental wrestle by thinking through till you break through. Face challenges in order to phase them out.
3. **CONVERT THEM**
Problems are raw materials for programmes and they're only waiting for you to convert them. Convert your obstacles to miracles and your enemy throws stone at you rather than throw them back at him, catch them and use them. He is losing ground while you are gaining ground. Turn every criticism to publicity..
In conclusion. Problems never leave you the way they met you. They either stretch or shrink you. You shrink when you dodge challenges, but you stretch when you face them. Challenges either make or break you; they either increase or decrease you.

Exercising your mind(part one)
The mind is defined as the seat of thoughts and memory; the centre of consciousness that generates thoughts, feelings, ideas and perceptions, and stores knowledge and memories. Unlike the biological heart, it cannot be seen or handled physically, but it can be defined by its activities as expressed through brain or mental faculty. Humans beings are often said to be entangled in one challenges or the other in a certain point and stage in their life. Are challenges rewarding or destructive in themselves?
Today we will be talking about how we can exercise our minds for creativity. There are many gifted people who are dying with their gifts because of lack of exercise of the mind, but people who use their minds are never stranded. One of the ways to exercise the mind is to "**FACE CHALLENGES**"
Challenges are the opportunities to exercise the mind for profitability. The human mind remains in a state of rest until a relevant force is applied to it and that is exactly what challenges do. They are the instigator of the mind
What people call problems are simply challenges to the mind and their purpose is to compel the treasures in it to emerge, since they come to activate your potentials. You may not be able to tell how fast you can run until a wild dog is chasing you. In the same way, problems push you out of indolence and nonchalance to creative projections. So the only way to know what you can do with your mind is to allow it to be instigated by some external pressures. If you need everything you need on a platter of gold, your brain will never be energised to think.
For instance, the early technological development in the western world can be attributed to their harsh weather conditions. When they are faced with the biting cold they learnt how to make clothes. People were still dying in the cold, so they began to think of how to keep their homes warm. They started by burning wood to generate heat, then they made stoves, and gradually electric heaters were developed.
Some People will never think of how to get money until they are faced with hunger. Stop dodging challenges; face them in order to phase them out. Nobody prays for hard conditions in life, but sometimes that is what provides you the opportunity to exercise your mind; it keeps the inner man alive.

Why some people keeps getting poorer?🤔
Sometimes we all wonder why some people keep getting poorer even though they have a high income. I learnt much in the book "The Richest Man in Babylon". When you are lacking financial literacy on how money works, you will work very hard and still have little to show for it at the end of the day.
I will not be able to explain all what I learnt in the book, I will just buttress on a certain point which ppl do miss quite often in income generation. The author said and I quote, .. "A **PART OF ALL I EARNED WAS MINE TO KEEP". KEEP A ONE TENTH OF ALL YOU EARN**". What does that mean?. It means that ppl often spend money on other necessary expenses without caring to save money for themselves. Let me give an illustration for more clarity. Assuming Mr A is earning about $100 a month, Mr A will have to pay for foods, housing, clothing and other necessities of life. That been said, his salary may not actually be sufficient to cater for his monthly expenses, but yet the author emphasized on saving at minimum a ten percent of the income for yourself. That is, while Mr K pays out a part of money to the cloth seller in respect of clothing, to the landlord for rents etc, what about the money he pay himself too for working the whole month. This in form of savings, quite funny right?
Now the author also emphasized on the importance of investing in the money you saved for yourself, you just don't save to buy a liability which doesn't bring any monetary value or compensation to you. Savings and investing no doubt is one of the surest way to acquiring wealth.
I enjoin everyone to get a copy of the book and read it for better understanding. I jotted down some quotes which I will like to share with you..
"Opportunity is a haughty goddess who wastes no time with those who are unprepared." When you discover. an opportunity to make money, don't sleep on it, grab it immediately, that might just be your opportunity. If you are doubtful, read the story of the man who founded Guarantee Trust (GT) Bank, Nigeria.
"Wealth grows wherever men exert energy" You can't be lazy and expect wealth to come.
"Wealth is power, with wealth many things are possible". Forget it, A poor man is not recognized as a powerful man in the society.
" A man's wealth is not in the coins he carries in his purse, it is the income he buildeth, the golden stream that continually floweth into his purse and keepeth it always bulging".
I highlighted the 7 cures for a Lean purse. Note that the author usage of Gold necessarily means Money. The seven cures include;
1. Start the purse to fattening
2. Control thy expenditures: don't let ur unnecessary expenditures and desires be more than ur income.
3. Make thy gold multiply by investing in profitable business.
4. Guard thy treasures from loss
5. Make of the dwelling a profitable investment.
6. Insure a future income.
7. Increase thy ability to earn.
**THE FIVE LAWS OF GOLD.**
1. Gold cometh gladly and in increasing quantity to any man who will put by not less than one tenth of his earnings to create an estate for his future and that of his family.
2. Gold laboureth diligently and contentedly for the wise owner who finds for it profitable employment, multiplying even as the flocks of the field.
3. Gold clingeth to the protection of the cautious owner who invests it under the advice of men wise in its handling.
4. Gold slippeth away from the man who invests it in businesses or purposes with which he is not familiar or which are not approved by those skilled in its keep.
5. Gold flees the man who would force it to impossible earnings or who follow the alluring advice of tricksters and schemers or who trusts it to his own inexperience and romantic desires in investment.
"Without wisdom, gold is quickly lost by those who have it, but with wisdom, gold can be secured by those who have it not.

Entrepreneur vs Investor; who is the greatest?🤑
Some days ago I stumbled on a post on Facebook,it was been said that between entrepreneur and an investor who is the greatest?. Naturally such question stirred up an argument as to which of the two is the greatest. This prompt me to bring it to readcash to hear your honest opinion on it. Meanwhile I also want to add my own view in the subject matter.
First, who is an investor and who is an Entrepreneur. An Investor is a person who invests money or anything substantial with the aim of making profit or for profit making motive. To invest is to commit money or capital in the hope of financial gain; to spend money, time, or energy into something, especially for some benefit or purpose.
Investors are seen everywhere, ranging from people buying shares in the stock market to people investing in landed properties or real estate investment and so on. An investor tries to convert opportunities to monetary gains. They try to turn existing opportunities to wealth. A pure investor is concerned about his profits and nothing else.
What about an Entrepreneur? Personally to me, I will rather say Entrepreneur has my vote in the comparison. An entrepreneur is a person that organizes, controls, coordinate and operates a business venture and assumes much of the associated risks. Now at this point, don't narrow ur concept of an entrepreneur to a person that found a business, Entrepreneur go much a long way. Entrepreneur may not necessarily be a business owner. One of the thing associated with entrepreneurs are the fact that they are inventors and that they create opportunities. People have been having a wrong notion of an entrepreneur, they think an entrepreneur is all about that big boss who founded a company and has workers working for him, hell no. Entrepreneurs are known for seeking for problems and finding ways to solve it. Consider Mark the founder of Facebook, he noticed some shortcomings in how people communicate with each others, he saw a problem of communication, he solved it by introducing Facebook. Entrepreneurs are problem solver, we all have great technopreneurs who have invented great technologies for our ultimate use. Consider Michael Faraday, they all recognized a need. Making profits is not their ultimate goal but solving problems.
An Investor can act in the capacity of an entrepreneur and vice versa. What I meant by that is this, take for instance, Mr K discovered in his community that people there have the problems in reading and writing and that affects them negatively even in their businesses as they cannot interact in a meaningful conversation with their learned customers. He then decided to open a school to teach them basic literacy. Now Mr K is an entrepreneur because he recognized a need and decides to make provision for schools. Yet he is also an investor because he assumed that by investing his money to build a school, his returns will be paid in folds in terms of tuition fees that will be collected.

You can succeed without going to school 🙄
Most people have always thought that they cannot make it without certificates, but many successful people today have proved that perspective to be wrong. There are people who have certificates, but have nothing to show for them. And when a man has nothing to show for what he has, it is nothing but deception.
Even without formal education, you can make it in any profession of your choice just like those who have studied it in schools or even more. Never be intimidated by the fact that you do not have a certificate. As long as you can acquire knowledge, understand and apply it, you can make it. Stop lamenting over the fact that you did not go to school; there is no height you cannot attain in life if only you will apply yourself to learning and that on a continuous basis.
I read the story of a young man who dropped out from school because he was very poor in class work founded Honda machines and cars. He was a very crude mechanic who only had interest in practical rather than classroom work, so he was sent away from school to go and learn in a workshop where he faced all manners of situations. The people didn't think he was fit for the work, so they turned him into a houseboy carrying their baby on his back. But when they were all gone by to work, he would go round the vehicles and begin to check them, inspecting and learning from them. He began to examine the pistons. In no time he came up with an idea that brought him to limelight. Now ppl travel to Japan from all over the world to import Honda products. His name was closed to the grave, but he brought it out through a personal learning process. The school drove him out of class but he drove himself into a personal programme of learning. He accepted the responsibility of developing his mind for productivity and today "Soichirro Honda" still remains a celebrity.
Many ppl with series of certificates are riding in his cars and they even pride of it. The greatest assets of all geniuses we see around us are not their certificates, their assets is their mind. Some are just going to school not because they want to learn, but for the purpose of acquiring certificate. Is that ideal?? Answer me in the comment box and let me know your views on this.

Improving your writing skills 🤗
Writing, especially on paper, is fast degenerating in our world today. Many people, including teenagers, find it easy to write short text messages on phone, chat with friends and use non-conventional abbreviations to pass across their message. Yet still the importance of writing in ink to hone your writing skills cannot be overemphasized. In this contemporary times, writing is a skill that must be developed. Why, because writing expresses the harmony between the tongue and the heart, when the tongue is compared to the pen of a swift and ready writer.
You may think it takes years to acquire the knowledge needed to become successful in writing. But sparing little time per day for reading and giving attention to learning can be helpful in increasing your knowledge and skills of writing.
Writers are learners; they're hunters of information. Do you agree? The amount of knowledge and information available in the world is increasing at a mind-blowing pace. In fact, it has been said that human knowledge has doubled in the last 20 years. More alarming is that the information that allows a person to be successful, to be on the cutting edge of his career and profession, especially in writing communication, is evolving. Therefore, you need to commit yourself to a lifelong self improvement and learning, improving your mind, increasing your skills and boosting your ability to assimilate and apply what you have learnt.
How to become a skillful Writer
1. Commit yourself to lifelong learning. The day you stop learning is the day you start dying. You must keep learning on a continuous basis.
2. Learn to read good educational books regularly
Reading for at least one hour in a day translates to about one book per week. This translates to 50 books per year which if consistently pursued will translate to 500 books in 10 years
3. Have your own study room or a quiet place of study, a place where you can do conscious and committed reading.
4. Study great leaders who are writers. One of the ways of improving your writing skills and subsequently building your competence is to study biographies of great leaders and their speeches.
With all these, you are on your way to becoming a better writer.
The Genius Minds
A genius mind is a mind possessing extraordinary intelligence or skill especially been demonstrated by a creative or original work in science, music, art etc. A genius mind possesses a extraordinary mental capacity, ability to produce extraordinary results.
A genius mind is not born naturally, it's usually nurtured. Nobody is born a dullard. Been a genius is a matter of choice. To be a genius, you have to engage your mind in the right thinking. All those geniuses around us like Albert Einstein devotes their time to rightful thinking, looking for ways to solve life problems. They're constantly renewing their mind with the right information. Much will be talked on by our intelligent group members

Sometimes we are immersed in our own fantasies, feeling that we have found a true partner, a loving one, but is it usually the case? Can there be true or unconditional love?

Firstly, Humans have always acted on their own impulses, usually a selfish one at that, who doesn't know the average human is a selfish creature. He yearns and acts on his own behalf, with disregard for the feelings of others. So therefore consider love according to me is a "conditional offer".
You see a lady who you think loves her partner with all her heart, it's a lie😊, she found something valuable that's why she decided to stay. Ladies by nature are "hypergamous" who will always choose to marry or mate with people who are socioeconomically higher than them. Literally I mean males who have more cash and wealth in their custody. You see them flaunting themselves at these rich young men at the slightest opportunity, is that love?
Hypergamy will make a woman love a man for what he can provide for her financially, not because of his personality. A man may love a particularly woman but because maybe the man is a man with a menial means, such lady will not even give him face, she believes he is not in her league. That's why you will never see a lady loving wholeheartedly a man living below his means. Is that true love?
Someone always tell me that the only person that loves you truly is your parents, they're the only one that can be there for you even if you are rich or poor, and that's why I have the highest regards and love for my parents more than anybody else. Well that's my own opinion, let us hear yours as well.
Corruption, internal or external?
Many a times we often lambast our political leaders that they are responsible for our woes as citizens and that all of them are corrupt. Meanwhile none was able to assume that corruption doesn't end on top. It reeks in everyplace and everywhere, high and low, up and down.

Corruption is seen as an inducement by improper means (as bribery) to violate duty(as by committing a felony). Even though we often don't want to see it this way, corruption is not embraced by the leaders alone. It's within the people of the states too. Someone funnily told me sometimes ago that corruption started since when we were still kids, I asked why? He said I should come to think of it, if you beats a child and then you offered him sweets and asked the kid who beats you, the kid will point to another person not you again why, because you have given him a sweet and he can't afford to say you beat him because you have given him a sweet, what do we call that?
Even though ppl often claim that they are not corrupt and they can never be, I can say such ppl have not been in a circumstances whereby they have to choose between maintaining their moral standards or money. Abraham Lincoln once said "Nearly all men can face adversity, If you want to test a man, give him power". Once they get hold of power, they abuse it and become even more corrupt that the leaders they are abusing before.
As I often say, curbing corruption is not done by rebelling against the corruption, Even though it might be effective temporary but it's not the permanent solution to curbing corruption. Corruption is a very internal phenomenon which has to be eradicated right from our different homes. You know by the homes form the society which in turn forms the nation. Let us strive to sensitize our children and youths from cradles on the dangers of corruption and its aftermath on people. Let us believe that corruption starts from us and its curb should starts from the lowest to the highest. This is my honest opinion. I wish to hear more on this subject matter in the comment section. Take More Risks
I’ll make you this promise: on your deathbed, in the twilight of your life, it will not be all the risks you took that you will regret the most. Rather, what will fill your heart with the greatest amount of regret and sadness will be all those risks that you did not take, all those opportunities you did not seize and all those fears you did not face. Remember that on the other side of fear lies freedom. And stay focused on the timeless success principle that says: “life is nothing more that a game of numbers – the more risks you take, the more rewards you will receive.” Or in the words of Sophocles, “Fortune is not on the side of the faint – hearted.”
To live your life to the fullest, start taking more risks and doing the things you fear. Get good at being uncomfortable and stop walking the path of least resistance. Sure, there is a greater chance you will stub your toes when you walk the road less traveled, but that is the only way you can get anywhere. As my wise mother always says, “you cannot get to third base with one foot on second.” Or as Andre Gide observed, “One does not discover new lands without consenting to lose sight of the shore for a very long time.”
The real secret to a life of abundance is to stop spending your days searching for security and start spending your time pursuing opportunity. Sure, you will meet with your share of failures if you start living more deliberately and passionately. But failure is nothing more than learning how to win. Or as my dad observed one day, “sam, it’s risky out on a limb. But that’s where all the fruit is.”
As i always say, life is all about choices. Deeply fulfilled and highly actualized people simply make wiser choices than others. You can choose to spend the rest of your days sitting on the shore of life in complete safety or you can take some chances, dive deep into the water and discover the pearls that lie waiting for the person of true courage. To keep me inspired and centered on the fact that I must keep stretching my own personal boundaries as the days go by, I have posted the following words of Theodore Roosevelt in the study where I write:

The significance of timely information in achieving Relevance.
Information is the bedrock of the learning process. I want to stress this point because many do not know the importance of updating their information bank. The more current you're with information, the better developed your mind becomes. If what you knew yesterday is all that you still know today, then your mind is not being developed and you may soon become out dated in what you are doing. One wise man said, "I do not think much of a man who is not wiser today than he was yesterday".
Stale information is no information! Every addicted reader is an enlightened soul. The backwardness of most people is simply rooted in lack of information. When you are not informed you become deformed; you are a misfit among others. People are crippled and stagnated in life most often because they are not adequately and relevantly informed. Their minds are either blank or stuffed with stale information. You cannot be operating today with the information you gathered in school some five years back and expect to be relevant. You're already outdated and before you know it, the up and coming fellows who are just graduating will overtake you in your business. You may be angry, but there's nothing you can do about it.
Please understand that mental development is a process. That's why it requires you going for current and up to date information in every area of life where you desire to excel. Current information improves your mental and physical efficiency. And when you are smart at your work, you will be in high demand. Even if you are fully booked people will prefer to wait for you.
Update yourself by acquiring information no matter your profession or vocation. Even a tailor needs to be current in styles and designs if he wants to remain relevant to his clients.
I go for more information always. That's why I'm not doing my work the way it used to be done three years ago. My mind is current and it's been developed and renewed regularly to stay relevant.
