Bakkhali is placed on one of the more deltaic islands distributed across South Bengal. Most of these islands are part of the Sunderbans, excluding a couple of them around the fringes. Some of these are United together with spans at thin creeks. The tiny land juts out into the vast area of the Bay of Bengal. There is one 8 km long beach extending from Bakkhali to Frasergunj with lightly winding waves. These are twin towns today forming one constant neighborhood. Except on the occasional day that beach is not crowded. The little straight near Bakkhali has been lighted up. It is the tough beach suited for sport or even riding. One may get longer walks with coconut water.

Here are some pictures of what to expect. Hope you can visit it one day.
