Gifts & Exchanges
Yes, it's that time of the year again, Christmas. People will be celebrating, eating well (if they are able) and rejoicing in the spirit of Christmas. Still others will suffer depression and heartache from a past memory that happened during this otherwise joyful season. Pause and reflect I've said it many times, Jesus was not born on Christmas Day as tradition tells us. Instead, he was likely born in August or September when shepherds would still be tending their flocks. This something they would not be doing in Israel in December! Nevertheless, this is a great time for giving as opposed to receiving. I won't delve into what I gave this year but the only thing I asked for was a San Diego Padre's original jersey, which I got. Other than that, I want nothing. Gifts & Exchanges One of my primary pastors speaks about gifts and exchanges in his Christmas sermon. Now I know it is Sunday and many will be going to church today. The fact is, some people only go to church when it is convenient or when it is Christmas or Easter. But live sermons and worship are always available online. Having said that, I'd like to invite you to hear the sermon by my pastor with the same title as the subheading. It's free. You can watch it on Facebook or on his website. You may also sign up to receive a daily devotion for free. I assure you this: this pastor is a straight shooter and will not stteer you wrong. He preaches the gospel and how we should live. The invite link is here and I hope you will enjoy it. If you desire to skip the worship music (he's not into entertainment in his large church), you can cut past it. https://www.facebook.com/pastorallenjackson/videos/420426659764498/

Thanks for the comment. He was receiving a comment from a jealous user because Scotty our friend is the top tipper and she wants to be #1. Let her have it if it'll feed her ego. Some people are just bonkers.
Yes, sir, giving is best when we give with a joyful heart.
I wonder to whom you're giving your tip. Girlfriend? A friend? Another account? 🤔🤔 Anyway, Merry Christmas..
He's a friend of my fiancee, not that it's any of your business. How rude of you!
Im not rude. I guess it's you who is rude here
You have already committed libel. Now kindly keep quiet.
So I get a text from my homeboy about your interrogation. And sure enough, there you are accusing me of doing something wrong. I wouldn't possess the audacity you have, that's for sure. Mariel is right, it's really none of your business, but just to let you know, I run a food bank for the poor who have no food. I tip my friends and writer's who preach Jesus or writer's with non-frivolous topics who write 99% grammatically well. Those are few and far between here. Most Filipinos can't even speak proper English, much less write it. It sounds to me like you're quite the jealous type. Before writing this comment I see you are the 2nd biggest tipper. If it glorifies your self image, by all means take the lead. I don't care, but I sure as heck won't stop tipping great writers and all people who make positive comments. Unfortunately, you are not one of them. Now get off my page. I have contacted my attorney and we will be seeking retrieval of information by warrant and charges of libel.
I will wait for that.. Do you need my personal details?
I also read in bible that December isn't the month that God born, however, what important is that we trust and believe in Him. Besides, being kind is all that matters.
Yes, Ma'am. People would o well to be kind. Unfortunately, someone committed libel on this thread and Scotty is in touch with his attorney to bring charges.
You are quite correct. Thank you for participating in this thread.
Will check out the sermon pretty soon. I agree that most people only go to church church it is convenient, especially festive periods only but this shouldn't be so.
