Yes its idiomatic expression to those person who really knows. We wonder why? The two close friends before they are very close to each other. When this friend find new friend it will become Fish out of the water? Or something when these two friend have a new discussion and then her very best friend did not know about what have they talking about it means Fish out of the water?
When know Fish only lives in the water and not on land. But if we put the fish in the sand or in land automatically the fish will die, the fish will not survive. Why i am talking abouy this.
