Well, went and ordered a new laptop so I'd have something to access my BCH with since my wallet will no longer sync with Ledger Live. I think it is fuckin' ridiculous that they do upgrades to their program that mean you can no longer access your holdings without upgrading your system too. Never would have bought the damned wallet if I knew this would happen.

Another Monday, only 29 days until Christmas is over! 28 fairlyhighs outside - that's -2 in centipedes - and I sure am glad I replaced the thermostat on the heater finally last year. I still cringe a bit when the heater kicks on because natural gas can get pretty expensive, but it (the furnace) appears to run about 60% less than it did with the old one. I'm loving how the US government thinks a 3.2% increase in Social Security is supposed to offset a 20% increase in everything else, but that's politics for you. *raises coughee cup* Salute! There are times when the ridiculousness of life simply overwhelms me and all I can do is laugh about it. The alternative is to scream and rant, and that doesn't accomplish anything except give me a headache. So laugh it is. Ha. Ha ha. Ha ha ha. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

I never realized how many places I need to contact to change my telephone number. I've had this number - and only this number - for at least 12 years so it's like EVERYWHERE. I was mad they wouldn't shut my phone off today until I realized it may take 22 days to get everything switched to the new number.

Well, I only need to figure out how to slash an additional $200 monthly off my expenses and I should be ready for winter bills. I decided yesterday to drop my phone service through Verizon, that saves me a bit over $80 monthly - if I give up weed and cigarettes that's another $130 (roughly) which leaves another $70 I need to save (monthly) somehow so I can keep the heat flowing this winter.
