Up to my neck in ZZ Top this morning - I have 8 of their albums and decided to spin all of them back-to-back (not pictured - 'Tejas', 'Afterburner', and 'Rio Grande Mud').

As summer ends and cooler temperatures approach my area, so begins the annual attempted Fall Migration of various insects and arachnids into the warmer climate of my house. This will not suffice. These are two intruders I have removed from the scene in the last couple of days.

Praying Mantis made an early-morning visit on the front screen door today. I'm fed up with people, and I don't seem to belong anywhere in particular, and I'm finding it hard to be interested in online socializing, but still alive and kicking.
Haven't been here for more than 30 seconds at a time lately, not because of anything new, same ol' same ol', enjoying music, cats, and marijuana.
The only food I absolutely must share with Scar is ham. Pizza? He don't care. Bacon cheeseburger? Won't even sniff at it. Ham? Better get his ready RIGHT FUCKIN' MEOW DAMMIT or he may trip me as I try to walk out of the room with my sammich...
They said it is International Cat Day but my cats have never left the country, heck most days they don't leave the yard. (I wish it showed previews for both photos instead of just the first)

The Edgar Winter Group and their 1972 release 'They Only Come Out at Night'.
Full moon fever this morning (3 AM)
Emoci and Scar both beings attention wh*res this morning. Meanwhile, I had both raccoons and deer in the front yard feeding on squirrel corn leftover from yesterday. 4th and 5th photos captured from video I shot today.

Second photo is of trash pandas feasting in the front yard early this morning

At 6:30 this morning the sun was a dull ball of redness, now at 7 it is an orange ball of brightness. Probably too many clouds to ever make it to yellow today.
Got three new (to me) albums in the mail - Thursday (1) and Friday (2) - all by Neil Young (which makes 25 of his albums I have now out of close to 50 released over his career). These three are all mid-80s releases and all very different from one another - 'Life' is a hard-rocking album recorded with Crazy Horse as the backing band, while 'Old Ways' is a very country album and has Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, and many others from that genre supplying the backing. The last one is Neil backed by The Shocking Pinks for the 'Everybody's Rockin'' release, which is a very 50's retro sounding rockabilly record.
This guy (Scar) moved in with me 8 years ago today when he was about 2 months old and has become my best buddy. Of course, he doesn't ACT that way because he has a reputation to uphold, but underneath all that furry aggression he prefers being close to me when he sleeps.
3 AM moonshot
A bit of Neil Young, a bit of pizza, a bit of the ol' herbal remedy, nice relaxing Sunday afternoon.
*when you are in the middle of writing something and due to user error you lose it irretrievably* *takes another sip of coffee* *take 2* First off, thank you to whomever sent me a bit of BCH the other day. It's nice to get a notice every month or two that yes, my wallet does still receive donations. lol "Donations for what?" you may ask. Well, donations for whatever, nothing in particular. Maybe you liked something I posted and wanted to show your appreciation of it with more than simply words. Maybe you wanted to help feed the deer or squirrels or raccoons or what have you. But all donations are appreciated. *takes another sip of coughee* G'mornin' from the USA (4:00 AM Saturday July 8) @Pantera reminded me of the closest thing to a vacation I have ever had. First time I ever saw a moose on the loose and I was driving on the highway and couldn't stop to get a photo so I was steering with one hand and snapping a photo with the other trying to keep one eye on the moose and one on the road. I thought it was nice of the sign to state that it was indeed a moose and not something else. lol
This thing must 'live' nearby because it is here quite often, and usually when I am least expecting it to be here. I don't see it making it through hunting season this fall - someone will shoot it.
All these people returning and joining because BCH went up and NOISE.APP DOES NOT GIVE ANY MONEY OUT, NEVER HAS, AND NEVER WILL so fairly soon it will become dead here again...
My cats are occupied watching a group of young raccoons feeding in the front yard this morning.
Listening to Guitar Gods this morning, Eric Clapton and Dire Strait's Mark Knopfler .
Emoci being a PrittyKitty™ laying out on the front porch on a sunny Friday afternoon in southeastern Illinois USA.
Today, for the first time, I finally held a piece of paper in my hand stating I own the house I live in and the property it is on. It is the yearly property tax assessment, due September 1 2023.
Well, if Bitcoin Cash could double from its current value ($224.25) I could break even on my investments. I sure would like to get out of the market without incurring a loss.
Afternoon music...
A few from Rod Stewart, one from Roger Waters, and one from Paul McCartney & Wings. Part of this balanced breakfast.
Kind of all over the map musically this morning, kicked off with some Tesla, then went to Smithereens, then the Wilson sisters with Heart, and finished up with the Pat Travers Band.
Well what the heck, I might have to sell some BCH while the price is good. I don't really want to but the belt is getting pretty tight. I'll be getting my property tax bill soon and need some extra $$, but at least I don't need to part with all of it.
Kind of all over the musical map this morning - Offspring, Steely Dan, The James Gang, & Tommy Bolin - Steely Dan and James Gang are both double-LPs.
Early morning with coffee, cats, and tunes.
Steppenwolf - it's what's for breakfast!
