Just a slew of fantastic albums from that era---or maybe it is simply because that was the era when I started 'paying attention' to music other than 'pop' music. My neighbor's uncle came back from the army around that time and had all these really great rock albums he had bought while there, which my neighbor Chris and I began greedily devouring. Uriah Heep. Argent. Grand Funk Railroad. Mountain. The James Gang. Just soooo much good music. And this from Humble Pie. Something about this album just 'grabbed' me (and evidently several others since it went to #6 on the US albums charts and received 'Gold' record status). This English band featured a great fusion of rock/blues/R&B music that made this album the pinnacle of their career and placed it on my list of 'must have' albums. Side one - 1. "Hot 'n' Nasty" 2.
