I simply ADORE stabbing myself in the leg every other Tuesday to administer my cholesterol injection. NOT. But it is one of those things I must do. Oh, I guess I don't absolutely HAVE to, I could just stop taking my blood pressure meds and my liver meds and my diabetes meds and on and on and on... I often joke that I do more 'drugs' these days than I did back when I was a meth freak, but really it is not a joke. It is something that is pretty much my own fault though for not taking care of myself all these years. I did learn to keep this type of medication in the refrigerator - if allowed to get to room temperature before injecting this hurts like hell. I did that ONCE, and once was enough.

It's a good thing that they have meds that you can take.
Ouch.. i am sorry for your pain..
Luckily you're taking it with a smile on your face. Usually that's the hardest part about having a condition (even tho you can control it easily with meds, but still!) Kudos to you!
Yeah, I have to take lisinopril, (high blood pressure), and nexium, (chronic reflux), but other than that I'm okay unless I catch a cold. For some insane reason, my body LOVES respiratory illnesses, and once I get one I suffer for 4 to 6 weeks or more. Grrr!!!!
