Sometimes I see something happening online and my mind SCREAMS I need to tell someone they've gotten something completely wrong, but some people don't take even a hint of correction without turning into a raging psychopath so I try to scroll on by, but I catch myself going back to look again and try to keep biting my tongue. Someone had inquired if a person prefers to read fiction or non-fiction, and one of the responses was: "I like non-fiction things the reason why is because you can make up whether you want. It doesn’t have to be real or believe able. Your creating a world for people to jump into and read. So how find there way as one for the characters and kind of feel or see what that’s person or creature is going through." And I wanted to tell them that they had gotten the two genres reversed, and they were describing why they liked fiction instead of non-fiction, but I have seen this person turn into a rabid shark before (I know sharks don't get rabies but...) and I kept my mouth shut. I did, however, point out to someone in a PM that maybe THEY would like to try to educate the person. Why can't I just leave shit be and mind my own bidness? lol

Yikes. Is that quote a direct copy/paste?
Yep. And English is the only language they speak.
Yikes... Kinda makes you wonder how much they really read at all. Sounds more like they were trying to flex on something they have no experience with lol
Such a dickhead of person really. He deserves the right to remain ignorant on my opinion.
Marry me, Myklj 😃
That's what I'd do. No matter how wrong a person who doesn't like being corrected is, I live them to their incoherence. Correcting them only leads to an uproar of vitamins. 😂 They'd have to learn the hard way.
There is, I think, a point where you just have to step away from the keyboard (and maybe open a marijuana) instead of engaging. I hit it when the same person posted about how their pet lizard was purring. They don't... but they may make noises that sound like that when they're suffering from upper respiratory infections.
