The third album from them helped bring punk to a more 'mainstream' audience. Selling over 11 million copies worldwide, 6 million in the USA, it certainly made the public pay attention. While no songs from this made the Billboard Hot 100 chart (nothing was released commercially as a single) three songs did score highly on the U.S. Alternative Rock chart---"Come Out and Play" #1, "Self Esteem" #4, and "Gotta Get Away" #6. I consider this more mainstream punk pop. They never took themselves too seriously. Their videos and lyrics are always fun.
