YES! This is exactly something I've been saying for ages to a degree. Any time somebody "hears the from god" or "heard the voice of an angel" it's a miracle and everybody's ecstatic BUT Any time somebody does some bad shit, they must be hearing voices, possessed, or some other demonic bullshit. IT'S THE SAME DAMN THING. If you're hearing voices, you're hearing voices. Send them all for psychiatric help.

  Last time *I* thought I was hearing voices it turned out to be from the local high school - football game and I could hear echoes from the guy doing the play-by-play over the outdoor P.A. Last time I *heard* voices it was the cats - they like to tell jokes, mostly about stuff happening to dogs.
