@Scarred4Lyfe more from that month

So my 6 siblings have signed and returned to our lawyer notarized copies of quitclaim deeds to the house I live in and the property upon which it sits, granting me sole ownership of that which was in my father's name before he died this past June (2021) without leaving a will. While I had been 95% sure this was going to happen, it is a load of off my mind for it to finally occur. Of course this means I am now responsible for the property taxes and insurance + upkeep of the house and property, and will probably only have an extra 5 or 10 cents left over at the end of each month, it also means I don't have to let anyone in my house or on my property that I don't really want to see. Perfect for an ol' solitary cantankerous sumbitch like me. ☺ (photo #1 not mine but is taken from the point of view of the northeast corner of the remodeled courthouse where I live in Richland Count Illinois where I went to get my copy notarized. Photo #2 is a Google street view of the actual house and property which I will now own. I was too lazy to take my own photos today.)
