Let me bore you with a moon-shot. I'm not sure if the full moon was yesterday or the previous day, but it had been too cloudy to catch any good shots. I took this one at 4 AM today (the 18th) and it is slightly past full. Camera used is a Canon SX 410 IS at 100x zoom. EDIT - actually this is about 24 hours before the full moon for November

Not that bad. You've got a new camera?
I think I've had this one four years now, it is a Canon SX 410 IS 'point-and-shoot' with a really good zoom on it
I see, I thought it was recorded with the phone. Yes, 80x zoom is something fine. The picture looks sharper than the ones I take at 100x. Respect, anything but boring.
this is so up close :)
Nice, nice. Hopefully it'll be clear tomorrow morning so we can get some shots of the lunar eclipse. Apparently it's going to be the longest lasting one in almost 600 years.
That's not boring; that's cool! Isn't it neato that we can see such detail these days? I wonder if humans will ever venture beyond the moon? Do you think a trip to Mars is actually a possibility? I have my doubts, but we'll see. And I wonder if we'll ever get past the asteroid belt, let alone travel beyond our solar system?
