Okay, no idea why that happened. I fell asleep around noon yesterday (after having an average night's sleep Sunday) and just woke up about an hour ago (3 AM), which means I slept 15 hours. Maybe my blood sugar got out of whack because right now it is 174 and it should not be that high after fasting for 15 hours. ANYWAY, I have labs scheduled for today (fasting) so I won't get to eat breakfast for about 4 more hours...I hate it when this crap happens. Watched 1,062 albums leave the house yesterday morning...guy showed up 8 days before he was supposed to, but since I already had everything boxed and ready to go it was a simple matter of him handing me $1000 and putting them in his vehicle (I was going to tell him $2000 but the majority of them were albums I had given to me by people over the past 10 years so I still made out like a bandit). That still leaves me 780 albums in my collection to listen to. If you add in the 200 or so albums I sold the guy last month when he first began asking me if I wanted to sell any of them, I had over 2,000 albums...which is fine if you are a collector, but I am a listener, and that was just too many. I see these guys with 10-20,000 albums in their collections, and all I can really think is "Why?" Are they trying to compensate for a small penis? That is too many records to actively listen to, so they must have some other reason for it. I could have asked for a LOT more...I only had 1538 of them listed in the collector database I was using at Discogs, and the value of that part was between $8,000 & $49,000 depending upon condition...mine would have comfortably fallen in the $17,000 range for the entire collection, which means I sold mine dirt cheap. But I've been doing it for the music, not the money, and I pretty much kept everything I had actually paid money for, so while GREED may have wanted me to ask for a more reasonable price...say around $8,000 for what I parted with...I'm content with what I got. And getting all that excess out of the way makes it a lot easier to decide what to listen to. #VinylJunkie

I think they bought them as an investment? Since they know the price and you sold them "dirt cheap".
I remember reading an article once about a guy who found something at a garage sale. He was an avid collector and knew what it was, and bought it for 50 cents. It was worth $2 million. It happens.
You really have a lot of albums.. and you really enjoy the music.. and of real value.. You are right.. you are not for money but for others to enjoy music too.. 👍
And i hope your blood sugar is okay.. take care..
Hey. Can't complain about $1000 that's for sure. Even if it could have been worth more. 100% profit is 100% profit. You done good.
I official envy you for having such a great audio collection. Send some of those vinyl here in the Philippines JJ. LOL!
