Some mornings I simply forget to turn my phone on until I have been awake for 3-4 hours. And this is a good thing. It means I am not tied to it by a leash, that my life is not controlled by my phone. I don't panic when I leave my phone at home, and normally I do not take it with me. But I am one of a dwindling number of people that still use a phone simply as a telephone. Some day, in the not-too-distant future, everyone alive will have been born after the creation of the cell phone/mobile. They will not know what it was like to not have a phone with them, to go for hours at a time where you could not be reached by phone at a moment's notice. And enjoy it. The Few. The Proud. The Unplugged.
