Sometimes,

Things aren't the way

We picture them in our head

No matter how hard we try

Detangling the frayed wires

Smoothening the crumpled sheets

Puzzling out an answer to a riddle

The truth will unveil on its own.

In the end,

No matter how painful

No matter how unimaginative

No matter how bizarre

Things will unfold the way it should be.

We can hope for the best

But only acceptance can make

Life much easier to endure.
