Ramadan is here
The most awaited Ramadan is here. A month of fasting from dawn to dusk. A month of repentance and acceptance, a month of peace, forgiveness and charity, a month for pure dedication in prayers. A month to forego and forget all ill happenings and accept whatever comes your way. This being the month where one gets spiritually attached to Almighty.
During this month, one has to fast by having his food and water before the early morning Aadhan (the call for prayer) from Mosque, after which he is restrained from eating or drinking even a sip of water. He can break the fast at the time of sunset after hearing the evening Adhan. So his time of eating is limited from sunset to sunrise.
It is told that this fasting is to remind a man of hunger and thirst which many of them experience due to poverty. As per Doctors, fasting improves the immune system and cleanse the body systems. Ramadan fasting definitely improves one's body and soul.
Though Ramadan is just for a period of one month. The preparation starts a month ahead. While some of them purchase new furnitures and furnishings for their home some of them renovate their home by painting etc... to welcome their new home for Ramadan.
This is the month where one abstains from physical involvement and abusive acts. One is supposed to mind the language of his talk. He should never use an abusive language or even has no right to hurt others by his loose talks. All these acts undoubtedly reduces the impact of his fasting.
Once you break the fast people usually consume more of water in the form of juice, soups , porridges etc. Anything in liquid form to hydrate your body. Fruits are also consumed in plenty. After which they go for prayer and then have a heavy meal.
Another importantthing of this month is charity which is given in lumpsum by the rich or according to the capability of a person by the poor and middlemen. It is told that the rewards for such charity is enormous. The more you give the more you get.

Since the beginning of the year, I have been excitedly awaiting Ramadan. God willing, the good deeds I planted during the past few months during the holy months leading up to Ramadan have been accepted by God. All throughout the month of Ramadan, I'll also embrace the opportunity to enhance myself by aiming to be nicer, gentler, and more soft-spoken. I'd like to wish you a blessed Ramadan.
All the best!
