Section 1: Are Domestic Violence Allegations Rarely True?

Statistics show that while abuse is prevalent, domestic violence allegations aren’t as common. On average, there are just 20 cases of false accusations for every 10,000 actual instances of abuse. And even in those rare instances where evidence proves an accuser was lying or overly emotional, it doesn’t mean they don’t deserve support or compassion. Even if a person was lying about being abused, it doesn’t necessarily mean they weren’t actually hurt by their partner. Instead of judging people based on their reasons for making a false claim, we should focus on how we can help them move forward after leaving an abusive relationship; not how we can get back at them for hurting our favorite celebrity couple.

Depending on whether or not he and his lawyers decide to settle out of court, it's possible that she could lose everything from her half of their property to future earnings from roles in upcoming blockbusters. It doesn't look good for her at all, so don't be surprised if more stories about domestic abuse come out—although without any solid evidence (which isn't easy to find), chances are they will never rise above whispers. Section 3: What If She Lied To Protect Herself From Abuse?

That someone is in a relationship with an abusive partner is often perceived as a red flag, something that justifies in other people’s eyes their skepticism and even outright hostility. It’s no surprise then that those are some of Amber Heard’s biggest challenges in court — there are two sides to every story after all, and given what we know about their relationship, it would be surprising if Amber weren’t also violent toward him at some point. She has many stories floating around, like these: Heard began alleging domestic violence towards her as early as April 2015, when she claimed he punched her face on a Saturday evening while they were staying on a yacht during a holiday in Greece.

Section 4: How Likely Is It That He Gave Her Domestic Violence And Was Reported To Police By An Actor, Too?

Heard accused her estranged husband of domestic violence, and he was indeed arrested for allegedly attacking her on May 21. He was released from jail on $20,000 bail but had to surrender his passport and agree to stay away from Heard until a judge issues a permanent restraining order, according to TMZ. There's no indication that police found photographic evidence or eyewitnesses corroborating Heard's allegations against Depp. Instead, it appears she had an image taken of her bruised face after their fight—for which she has yet to release an explanation or caption—but one woman who says she knows both actors told The Daily Beast that it’s not a stretch for women to cry assault even when they're not really victims.

Section 5: What Has He Done That Sounds So Horrible?

If found guilty of domestic violence, Jody Foster will have to pay a fine, serve time in jail and make an agreement with her partner. It is unlikely she will loose her money on top of everything else if found guilty of domestic violence because she has a good lawyer team working for her. Based on a survey among lawyers, they believe they will be able to set up a deal where she wouldn’t have to go to jail and pay only small amount in fines. This case shouldn’t take long either since it’s from 2014 when it happened and it didn’t get that much media attention till recently. This case could be wrapped up within six months or even less. Section 6: How Likely Are These Claims To Get Through The Court Process Unscathed?

If convicted of Domestic Violence, Jody Foster faces up to one year in prison and a $100 fine. Additionally, under California's Three Strikes law, she will be required to serve at least half of her sentence. That means Ms. Foster would need to be incarcerated for at least 30 days if found guilty of Domestic Violence in order to be eligible for early release on parole. Given that penalties increase with each additional conviction under California's Three Strikes law, Ms. Foster could end up serving as much as five years in prison if found guilty by a jury or judge for both battery and domestic violence against her alleged victim.

Section 7: How Many Times Would She Need To Lie About His Abuse Before Going To Jail For Perjury?

Heard claimed she was a victim of domestic violence on at least two occasions when she requested a temporary restraining order against her husband. She claims he threw an iPhone at her face, hitting her cheek and eye. However, photos released by TMZ show what appears to be an injury caused by a contact lens. There is speculation that photos may have been taken after said event because there are visible marks on Heard’s arm which appear to be bite marks, though they have not yet been verified as such. If that is in fact true, then it looks like she could be facing some serious legal issues herself for doctoring evidence and using fake injuries to gain sympathy from potential jurors in court.

Section 8. How Likely Will Jody Foster Loose Her Money In This Case If Found Guilty Of Domestic Violence Against Amber Heard?

If found guilty of domestic violence against amber heard, Jody Foster will be charged with third degree assault. If convicted of that charge then she faces up to two years in jail as well as having to pay a $5,000 fine. She could also be banned from owning any pets for up to five years and may have trouble getting and keeping jobs for a few years after her conviction. This is because all employers want to hire people who are not going to get into violent arguments with others or themselves in their workplace.
