4 weeks of happiness and cuteness: A Daily Dose of Cute to Brighten Your Day

Week 1 - Puppies

Puppies are adorable. There’s no denying it. They’re loveable, cuddly, playful...and we want one! However, puppies can be a lot of work as well—they don’t just sit there looking cute; they need to be trained, walked, and bathed regularly. In other words, they need your constant attention in order for them to become a well-behaved member of your family (which is fine if you have children who will likely play with their new friends). If you have time on your hands but not enough room in your house or yard for an extra pup (or two), there are alternatives like volunteering at local shelters or adopting an older dog that might need a second chance at life.

Week 2 - Baby sloths

Sloths spend almost their entire lives hanging upside down in trees. And for good reason! They have several adaptations that allow them to hang without effort, including long claws that hook onto branches, an extra arm bone that allows them to grasp tightly, and huge, bulky muscles in their shoulders. But one of my favorite things about sloths is how slow they are. The common three-toed sloth can move at less than 3 feet per minute, making it one of the slowest mammals in existence. On top of being super cute, it's also really hard not to love a creature who can give you so much time just sitting there enjoying life!

Week 3 - Animals doing funny things

Pets are one of nature’s biggest sources of daily joy. Animals do things that make us laugh every day, but they usually get overlooked in favor of human-centric material. Look at your animals as if you were a child again, and write about all their crazy antics! If you want, throw in some photos for good measure!

Week 4 - Kittens being silly

As any cat-lover knows, kittens are full of energy. While older cats will often nap during the day, some kittens can't sit still for a second! If you need a break from work, why not get inspired by these cute kitten videos? Not only do they put a smile on your face—they may even motivate you to work harder in order to celebrate their achievements as they grow up into majestic felines.
