Jang Man-Wol (IU) is the CEO of Hotel del Luna. The hotel is situated in downtown in Seoul and has a very old appearance. She made a big error many years ago and, because of this, she has been stuck at Hotel del Luna. She is beautiful, but she is fickle, suspicious and greedy.
Koo Chan-Sung (Yeo Jin-Goo) worked as the youngest assistant manager ever at a multinational hotel corporation. He is a sincere perfectionist. He looks level-headed, but he actually has a soft disposition. Due to an unexpected case, he begins to work as a manager at Hotel del Luna. The hotel's clientele consists of ghosts.

One of the best drama for me. I’m glad that IU choose this kind of drama. I was waiting for her next project after My Mister. Those who think Jang Man Wol character doesn’t fit IU’s nice image doesn’t know how great her acting is. They should watch The Producer too to see IU as Cindy, another mean character.
Choosing Yeo Jin Goo as the lead is not a wise choice. He is a great actor but he looks quite young to play as Goo Chan Sung. The should cast someone a bit mature to play the character so that there’s no awkwardness romantic interaction between the leads.
The romance part, I guess the writer try to keep it minimal, as to focus on the storyline the most. Just like in any Japanese drama, you will see less interaction between the couple but you notice the feeling is there. I like it like that. Cause I couldn’t imagine IU and Yeo Jin Goo as the best couple, compare to IU-Lee Joon Ki, IU-Kim So Hyun and IU-Woo Young.
This drama has set the bar too high, other dramas will have a hard time to keep up. I've watched three dramas since Hotel Del Luna but they all failed to give me the "feels" that I got after watching this drama. It's been almost two months already but I'm still stalking IU and Yeo Jin-Goo on Instagram, rewatching random episodes (I still laugh and cry each time) and listening to the drama's OST. Everything about this drama is perfect!!!
