Chief
Sunset sky. Summer air. Tinctured with the smell of rotting fallen leaves. Lying supine. Canopied by the shadows of the leafless gigantic mahogany trees. Dying grass spreading out, A mixture of light brown, And Amber, And green. I close my eyes. Your fading smile, Flashes. Crisp laughter. Sweet angelic voice. Chief. I am almost over you. Almost. Or am I?
