JULY 3, 2022 (SUNDAY)

Hi! GOOD EVENING.

How are you doing guys, we are experiencing hot weather these days not only hot but humid also, the skin always feels like it is oily, washing my face again and again but greasiness isn't going anywhere. This month of July is not easy to live in. Air cooler useless these days, the only thing that can decrease humidity and ease us is air conditioner which is unaffordable by me.

In this hot weather i remember a school trip of 2013, when we visited a cool place named as Fort Munro, people these days adding stories on their Facebook and statuses on their whatsapp accounts of visiting Fort Munro. I remember my own school trip while watching their videos and pictures.

I mentioned three names of different three places in the title of my article. I would like to share some background knowledge about these places.

Note : If you are not interested in the History of cities you can skip this part of article now on 3 large paragraphs.

1. PUNJAB

"Punjab is one of the four provinces of Pakistan. It is the most populous Pakistani province, with approximately 110,000,000 people, or just over half the total population of Pakistan, per the 2017 Pakistani census.

Area: 205,344 km²

Wikipedia

PUNJAB (punj=5, and punjab means the land of Five rivers.

Actually there are two Punjab now, before partition of subcontinent it was only one Punjab and after partition Punjab is divided into two parts one of them is now called as pakistani punjab and other pubjab is called as Indian punjab.

The proposed Saraikistan forms about 52 per cent of the total area and 32 per cent of the population of the Punjab province.[6] Saraikistan has a population of 34,743,590 as of 2017, up from 23,507,210 in 1998."

And fort munro is a place located in Southern Punjab. It is coolest place in South punjab, here temperature remains under 20 degrees even in hottest summer of Pakistan.

" Fort Munro (Urdu, Punjabi: فورٹ منرو), formerly known as Loilaresir, and Anari Mool in Balochi language, is a hill station which is located at a height of 6,470 feet (1,970 m) above sea level in Dera Ghazi Khan District, Punjab, Pakistan.[1] It was developed by British in the late 19th-century as a summer hill town."

🌟 My story 🌟

And the only thing i want to discus in this article is Fort Munro.

  • Fort Munro is called Murree of South Punjab, people theses days sharing videos and pics of their visits to Fort Munro.

  • After watching their videos and pics i used to remember my own school trip to Fort Munro. This trip was held in 2013 when i was a student of matriculation.

  • The trip was arranged in July by our school authority. A bus was arranged to travel toward the visiting place. It took us more than 4 hours to reach there. The track was so much scary, the road was moving like a snake on the hills.

  • We took break at two places during travel. Purchased things to eat there and then started the travel. The bus in which we traveled was so much comfortable.

  • And our school management charged us 700 rupees per head. Meal were provided by our school. The additional things to eat were purchased by ourselves.

  • In this journey, my younger brother was with me, he was in 6th class that times.

  • We started our journey on morning at the time of 06:00 AM and reached there at 10:15 AM.

  • Going toward the place, we all were so much excited because we were visiting this place first time in our life.

  • We visited three different places there (The park, Trimu hill, Jheel{lake}, anari hill). The place i like most from all of these was anari paharri. Because it was a point where temperature was very much low and we were at so much high place we can touch the clouds. Jheel was also so much comfortable and calmy place, people were not present in much quantity there, i can remember how i throw stones in water of Jheel and how those stones were floating on water. And in the park we enjoyed so much we experienced different swings. We were very happy.

  • We ate rice there provided by our school team.

  • We took pictures with our cheap phones, it was a time when very few people has good phone and cameras with them but no one was with us who was having a camera with him/her. Then i lost these pictures with my cellphone.

And after visiting all important places, it was time to travel back. No one of us was ready to get back, the place was so much lovely, no one was ready to leave it. But we had to get back after spending 3 hours there, because we were not all allowed to stay a night there, as pakistan is a pervert nature country, people are conservative mind. And it was dark when we reached our home.

When we reached, our parents were angry and mama said that she will never allow us to visit along such school trip again (the only reason behind this was getting too late to home).
