A More Extensive Alternative To Stakecube
Staking continues to be a viable way of making fairly safe passive income from my Crypto holdings. There are a lot of other options currently, thanks to DeFi and farming but the safer aspect of staking is still very much a draw card. ETH staking is on the horizon and Cardano staking has been active for sometime now and is also available on My Cointainer. The one very important aspect of My Cointainer is that they have a lot of the more premium staking coins available, unlike competitors such as Simple Pos Pool and StakeCube, who seem to focus on the bottom end.
Many people are attracted to the extremely high yields of some of these coins but what you have to remember is that most of them devalue at a faster rate, as many have no real use case and stakers are consistently selling them off on the market. I would always suggest looking at solid projects, incorporating use cases and a good price action history.
One very attractive service that StakeCube offer is the ability to earn 7.5% on your BTC, DOGE and LTC. Ethereum has now also been added, so that may give StakeCube a boost. I would personally not invest large amounts in staking pools or interest accounts on pooling sites. When it comes to security and trusted custodianship, I choose to rather make use of BlockFi. StakeCube has been hacked once or twice in the past but it seems as if they have now beefed up their security quite significantly.
Quality Staking & Airdrops
As mentioned earlier, there are some good staking projects available on My Cointainer and chances are, many have exhausted the offerings of Atomic Wallet and Trust Wallet and are looking for some new staking opportunities. Some of the more higher profile coins available are Cardano, Kusama, Polkadot, IRISnet, Energi, Matic, COTI, Qtum and Solana. There are so many more available and definitely worth a look.
Fees are openly displayed, which is rather transparent and something not often seen. There is also an Airdrop page with current airdrops that are available. For users that are going to stake larger amounts, there are 3 different "Power Plan" options that may be quite useful.
These are monthly subscriptions that range between 7.30 euro to 39.90 euro and include perks such as zero staking fees, zero withdrawal fees as well as zero swap fees. There are a number of other perks but the most important ones are those that save you money, right?
My Cointainer appears to offer some value to the staking space and I would recommend doing your own research before making use of such a service. This is not investment advice and I do not endorse any platforms or products.
I am in the process of trying this one in dept.
