Although water lilies of different colors and sizes are seen, white water lilies have been given the status of national flowers of Bangladesh.
The water lily blooms in the morning and the petals disappear as the daylight increases. It is directly attached to the stems and roots. Shuffler leaves and flower stems or stems are attached to the roots under water. And these roots are attached to the soil and the leaves float on the water. New leaves are born from the roots. The leaves are round and green but black at the base. The floating leaves are sharp all around. Leaf size is 20 to 23 cm and their range is about 0.9 to 1.8 m. Shapla flowers can be seen in different colors such as pink, white, blue, purple etc. This flower has 4 to 5 petals and 13 to 15 petals. The flowers look like stars. Cup-like segments are 11-14 cm. Shapla blooms almost all the year round but monsoon and autumn are the best time to grow this plant.
