Mehendi/Henna is a kind of body art used for temporary tattooing usually applied by making designs on hands . It is very popular among women in South Asia and Middle East. The Pakistani wedding tradition calls for a Mehndi ceremony to be held the night before the wedding as a way of wishing the bride good health and prosperity as she makes her journey on to marriage.
