Well, a lot of us are fascinated by the term hacker. Some nerd guy sitting in his basement, hacking stuff. Well this perspective of a hacker is quite wrong. Hackers are anyone who have a lot of technical machines and can use the vulnerabilities to hack into a machine.

Well, if you wanna get into the world of hacking I might share you some tips. I myself is not a pro, but I am hacking for about a year and have learned a lot of stuff. I have rarely did any illegal cybercrime, but a lot of time just being a white hat hacker and finding bugs for bounty. Although I got friends in the illegal space and know all kind of the stuff they do to make money. Well that's not the focus of this conversation, I just wanna help you get started.

1.) Learn a few programming languages.

Let's assume you're a complete beginner and know nothing. Hackers play with codes to find vulnerabilities . So, this will need a knowledge of Programming. Just learn a few prominent languages.

2.) Before directly getting into hacking learn about some fundamental stuff. For beginners who lack experience in this field, it's best to start with the basics.

Just explore topics such as computer networks, firewalls, network ports, common network protocols, IP, HTTP, FTP, DNS etc.

Start learning how to operate the linux operating system as it's the best choice for hackers. Once you develop a fundamental knowledge and build a base in hacking it will be easier for you to learn and practice the various hacking techniques.

3.) I will suggest to read the book Hands on Hacking, and also find a good source where you learn the stuff. Find yourself a good mentor.

and most importantly be patient, just don't give up in a matter of weeks or months, You're not gonna hack banks and steal millions in a week. (Although I will suggest you to not to do anything illegal because you could end up in the jail).

Hacking is just a tool, you could use it for good or bad both it's upto you.
