Working hard is important but believing in yourself is all you need to grow.

Most times i've heard a lot of compliements on others on how hard they are working to ensure they maintain a good balance in life financially and otherwise but i've never heard of anyone being congratulated on or encouraged for believing in oneself that seem to have warranted this thought-provoking article i wish to share with you all my family and friends of this great platform.

In addition to the above introductory statement, i'd like us to take out a little chunk of our time and reflect on each of the two contrasting statements of fact that reflects the entire facts of our today's discuss.

" working hard".

The verb "working hard", means having the ability to do a job without tiring out, though, this is my own simple and straight forward definition of what to work hard or working hard means.

To some other persons however, it means another kind of definition that seems to be talking about the same thing that is, when narrowed down deeply to mean the ability to endure on a job for long either to make ends meet or for some purposes that time may not permit me to say here.

Noteworthy is the fact that the jobs we do can come in different categories depending on the kinds of jobs specifications and the areas of it we are asked to undertake so as to meet up with the demands.

In nigeria and some third-world nations of the world, a larger part of the population do so much of a hard job just to survive or perhaps, to put some meals that are not even much enough to go round and feed the too many hungry bellies on the table and what this basically suggests is living a life that is idiomatically expressed as "hand to mouth".

What you still find of such persons who of course make up the larger parts of the population that runs well above 200million active men and women (excluding children & the aged) who are found within the working bracket is a total abject poverty and a settling for less given the fact that hard work alone cannever guarantee success or growth financially.

I have an example of a friend called Emmanuel. Emmanuel is a 25yr old boy and the only child of his parents. He however grew up to embrace hard work even before his maturity of 25yr as his only and best option to making it life and being a good friend i've always been to him, i have on many different occassions asked him to seek the way of education which is capable of solving two things for him being; educating his mind and giving him that leverage and freedom of speech anywhere he finds himself but i then ended up allowing him to his fate and thought of working hard to mean his only escape route.

As at the last time i visited home at the country side, i've been more than disappointed seeing that he's still the same old person i've left some 2yrs back and he even appears far worse off than what i had known of him before my leaving back to the city.

I then tried by inquiring from him what that had gone wrong with him all these while and why he had not been able to stampede his authority financially as was his initial thinking, his reply even made matters worse as what I saw in him was a man who has decided to yield a place for poverty given his constant tries that never seemed to have worked out the was he planned them.

Now to you, what does hard work suggests especially when one thinks of it as his only route for breaking free financially with respect to Emmanuel my friend's example now shows us?

Now let us compare that aspect of working hard with what happens in its opposite number being, "believing in oneself for growth.

We have taken a brief yet a critical analysis into what happens in the world of those working only hard without a believe to grow and i feel you've all been able to pick some lessons from there, now, let us digress to what happens in the world of those that believe in themselves to grow or achieve success and at the end, we will find out which is better and which one or line of actions should one toe or key into if one must "make hay while the sun yet shines".

AAyyyy!!!. That is it. To believe in oneself in order to achieve growth appears very very absurd, quite untrue and very much unrealistic i'm i right? Yes, that is exactly what it looks like but alas, it is very much far from it and the level of its realistic tendencies is placed at a 100% outcome.

Now let us discuss that briefly using all the judgement parameters and examples in our avenue of opportunities available to us to discuss it and find out why and how.

First of it all is that fact that you can't do a thing you don't have the abilities to do can you? When we talking about abilities here, we are not trying to reflect on the so-called physical abilities but rather, the mental ability which happens to detect what our physical ability will perform given its level of energy combinations outputed to meet with the needs on grounds.

Take for example, a person who wants to start a factory work, before such a person begins to undertake any role in the said job he's offered to do, it would have been acertained if such a person has got the ready mindset to do the job before he's then employed to impact on the said job he's given to do combining both his readiness in mind to do the job which of course suggests a believe in oneself and his physical readiness to carry out the said job based on his energy level, isn't that true? Sure it should be even without any iota of doubts placed on this total statement of facts and those of truism.

Let us also take this last examples of many men whose self believe have indeed produced the best of results for them to an extent that their senses of believe is in a far fraction bigger and larger than their energy dispensable in the jobs they do and now what do we know of them if not a total recognition of their efforts and contributions towards humanity worldwide at all times?

Could it be argued that they don't deserve such placements the world have recognised them with? No is the answer as they do deserve even far more than that and their emulatable examples keep speaking volume even after they are gone from this mortal world.

Here are the lists of some men whose believe in themselves for growth have given them such a deserved world recognition.

The wrigth brothers (Orville August 19, 1871 & Willbur january 30, 1948)

These two American guys with only a 3 years experience in a high school believed in themselves and built the very first airplane the world has ever come to know and till date, their value input has never and will never be erased from our history books would they?

Michael faraday (born september 1791 in newington butts, london united kingdom)

Mr Faraday was a British chemist and physicist who contributed significantly to the study of electromagnetism and electrochemistry which are the principles behind the electric transformer and generator we make use of today to ease life and till his death on 25th August 1867 at Hampton Court where he had been given a lodgings in recognition for his contribution to science, his name will continue to make waves for his self believe for growth have indeed paved the right way of success for him.

Steve jobs ( born on 24 feb, 1955 in San Francisco California United States.)

Mr Steve Paul Jobs was the chairman and chief executive officer and co-founder of Apple intercoporations, a major device that seems to making more wider range of excellence in the microsoft world.

His contribution on that aspect alone has given a wider range of recognition for him and till his death in October 24, 2011, his value addition have remained part of our history books till date and now, what do we call that if not a self believe to achieve growth? Yes that is exactly what it is.

Bill gates ( william Henry Gates III was born on October 28, 1955.)

He is an American buisness man and investor whose competence in the areas of microsoft development has aided an inter - world connections through the computer commands which everyone, companies and governments of the world have been using to redirect all economic and ploitical etablishments in a more systematic ways using the provision of the internet which is typically credited to mr Bill Gates for his outstanding contributions there.

Mark Zuckerberg ( born on the 14 may, 1984)

This American man is credited with the finding of finding of media magnate, internet entrepreneur and also a philantropist of our mordern times but the special thing about him was that of an idea that started from creating pictures online and helping his friends connect with each other whilst he made so much money and earned some recognition for his efforts.

Other social media he is credited with are the ever popular facebook and whatsApp socail media sites where all kinds of messages and pictures are sent across friends and globally as well. Now, what we do know of him is that of a self believe which now yields so much recognition for him till date.

Cosmos maduka (coscheris motors, born 24 december 1958)

Here is another noteworthy buisness man and entrepreneur of our mordern day era and the most lovely aspects i chose to talk about this man is in the area of the making his wealth from a nobody to somebody.

He began by slaving for a master in a local market in Nigeria and then gradually sold items in bits that he collected from those that have the needed items and then add a little amount on it which after selling it, then he would take his own profit and saves it until it becomes very big enough to start him a buisiness of his own.

His sense of believe for growth had really paid off to an extent that he has become a popular figure not just in Africa alone but in the entire world as the case may be.

Chief MKO Abiola ( born on 24 August 1937 -7 July 1998)

Chief MKO Abiola was a Nigerian buisiness man, a publisher and a politician who would later become the Aare Ona Kankafo XIV of Yorubaland in Nigeria and an aristocrat of the Egba clan.

Before his rise to srardom, this man got my attention so much so that he was renowned to have hailed from a very poor background where the eating of a three-square meal was a mere mirage.

However, his ugly encounter and journey of life made him to resort to the selling of fire woods and iced water at motor parks just to survive and indeed he did as his determination, self believe and his strong desire combined with his hard as well earned him such a deserving place in the history books for life.

Marc de mesel.

Yes here is our own man @ Marc de mesel a Belgian billionaire and why do you think he deserves to make this list amongst so many mentioned and unmentioned worthy men and women whose value inputs have gone beyond mere imaginations?

Simply put it that he has made a huge name for himself having been a household name in the crypto currency and investment world after he had amassed a wealth of monumental magnitude investing in bitcoin.
