The ministry of fuel and power

The nationalization of the British government's spurce of economic power and money making like the coal, the gas and the electricity has been accepted at that time as parment which is for the Ministry of fuel and power that is working through the National Coal Board, the Gas council and the British electricity Authority, in order to ensure an abundance in their supplies and their cpmmercial usages as well so that it will be evenly distributed for everyone to benefit from.

It is the Minister who is charged with responsibility of appointing the Board members and laying down its general policy with which they are to operate with while also leaving the day to day management and the running of that same department in their hands in order to ensure efficiency on their part if all manners of sState control is removed.

The ministry of Agriculture.

The first purpose or function of this department was to collect information about the different agricultural methods and then advice the government where neccessary given their avanlanche of richly researched information agriculturally.

This department in fact was one of the mpst important department if not the most department given its importance in ensuring that there is enough food to go round for everyone's full benefit and at this time, the agricultural aspects of it was not only based on the production of cash crops and other crops but those of the animal husbandry and rearing as well.

The inclusion of the animals as part of the British government's agricultural prowess did give a so much impetus on the British government's right to control the disease between the animals as the farmers were not let alone to deal with that issue.

The Ministry in charge of this very agricultural department through its appointed agencies saw to the general cleaniness of the department and then ensured that standard was maintained in and out of the department.

During the 19th century when the global trade increased, the British's government's special fitness and plan was made plain.

At this time, she(the British government) could not grow unlimited food but by the development of her industries, and by the importation of food majorly from the less developed or industralized countries, she would be able to keep her growing population and therefore, ensure she give them a balanced kind of meaningful and a worthy to live life and she was able to achieve this through the study of disease that eventually led to the general application of science in agriculture till date.

During the war of the 1914-18, by hampering imports on food, promoted a revival in agriculture but this ended as soon as trade resumed its normal course. A similar decline decline occured to the British during the war of 1939-45 in which the British now faces the problem of preventing yet again, another impending and imminient decline in their production and movements of agricultural produce.

At this time, the Ministry has taken a full responsibility regarding the general direction of agriculture in which it guarantess in advance, the prices of the principal agricultural products in order to ensure a greater security to the farmers.

This measures by the Ministry in charge of the agricultural department raised the hope that at least, such measures will ensure the payment of good wages which was as against in the early 19th century, when they(the farmers) were poorly enumerated from the agricultural produce though, until such Ministrial policy of protecting or ensuring the maximun security of the farmers within its control is secured, then it will be very much difficult to keep much labour within its rank and file.

The Board of Trade

This board exisits in law but not in fact; it is officially a committee of the privy council which contains many members that do not take any part in the work which is carried on by the president and the parliamentary secretary and a Minister of trade whose special interest and assignment is that of being concerned with the overseas trade.

Though some of the board's work is routine and if the private enterprise is to flourish, then the government is charged with the responsibility of protecting the public from the industrial and commercial fraud and for this purpose, Acts stating how Joint Stock Companies are to be formed, and how their accounts is to be published; by using a standard weights and measures and see that they are used to protect the rights of the investors by granting them the patient rights was duly made so that no one was dealt a deadly blow.

The situation after after the war of 1939-45 added even a greater responsibilities to the board as there were much to look out for and make up with within their respective department.

During this same war, it could be recalled that Britain has concentrated all her energies on war time production to the due neglect of the export markets and many branches of the home industries which then leaves the board with an ultimate decision on how to professionally conduct the steps that must be taken in order to restore the country's industrial efficiencies and they did this by partly making use of a system called the licensing system through which the board can or may take action by influencing and ensuring the normal flow of food through the home and export markets while much care was taken to discourage all aspects of wastages given the demands and the full effect of the war as at that time as much as the more money expedition in the war by the government.

These ultimate decision making process by the board including the rejection by the board to make provision for or allow for the production of luxury articles given the lesser amounts of labour and the materials that are required for the production of these agricultural produce were aimed at achieving a national sufficiency actually gained them(the board) with the due confidence of the entire public.

In summary,

This research which tends to dig a little more deep regarding the British government's role economically after the Adam Smith's effect which is far from being removed from the private enterprise capitalism of the early 19th century and how the State exercises a considerable amount of a complete control in other fields where it acts as both the helper and the controller of the private industries down to the State's full concentration in the wars ravaged periods in line with the State's ultimate negligences of the agricultural sector that would eventually go on to become a scientific base of research and the expected improvement so to say.
