Analysis of the day, it could be better!
Lately, I've come to the conclusion that it's good to make some plans for the next day or days and do your best to fulfill them. The better the plans are described and in detail, which you have to follow, the greater the chance of success.
I started the morning with two plans to execute today, the cleaning and preparation of the shed for the wood that I am going to bring in in the near future and prepare them for the winter and the second plan, quite important and this one, changing a water faucet warm, in the bathroom.
Preparing the warehouse
I think you know what it means to have a shed in which to store, all summer long, all kinds of things that have become useless, things that I will definitely use next year, next summer.
Starting from the children's pool, the children's bicycles, the tent that I had set up in the yard, all kinds of bags full of clothes, all kinds of bags with recyclable plastic bottles, all kinds of books and utensils used in the garden or when I was doing some a grill I had to take them, each one separately, and find another place for them somewhere where they won't make a mess until next year.
It was 2:00 in the afternoon and I hadn't finished, and to make matters even better, a neighbor also came to visit, needing some tools to repair a roof, at his shop, so the period of activity until 4:00 in the afternoon, when I finally finished organizing and preparing the shed.
Changing the faucet
Of course, my job is not that of a plumber and I only have the basic knowledge in carrying out the activity in this field. But I told myself that if the man reached the moon and achieved so many almost impossible things, I would also be ready to change a faucet, with all the risks that are required.
The whole thing went like clockwork, I removed the old faucet, prepared the new one, of course with the appropriate materials to prevent water leakage, and installed it, but now, the problems started.
After I finished tightening the faucet I turned on the water to see what was happening and of course it was flowing as if I didn't even have a faucet there.
I turned off the water, opened the faucet again, changed the gasket, installed it again and turned on the water. Not a single drop was flowing past the faucet, but instead, a few centimeters higher, while I was still working on the faucet, I touched another faucet that started to flow. Here I escaped much faster, because I only needed to tighten it a little more and the problem was solved.
In conclusion, it was quite a productive day, leaving aside the time I spent with the neighbor and the nerves caused by the water in the bathroom. Tomorrow is another day a new start another skill set.
