When will the next wave of corporate investment in the first cryptocurrency start and what is stopping hedge funds from entering the digital asset market? These questions were answered by Mikhail Karkhalev, financial analyst of Currency.com cryptoexchange
The next to enter the crypto market can be the same enthusiasts and adventurers as Elon Musk, says Mikhail Karkhalev, financial analyst at Currency.com crypto exchange. In an exclusive interview with RBC-Crypto, he suggested that the head of Virgin Galactic, Richard Branson, or the founder of Amazon, Jeff Bezos, could announce the purchase of bitcoin.
“More serious corporations, such as Microsoft, Intel, will be among the last to enter this market. They have quite serious capital that they can bring to the market, and this can put pressure on quotes in one direction or another. Therefore, they will be somewhere in the middle or at the end, when everything about this market will become clear, ”Karkhalev is sure.
In his opinion, the next wave of Bitcoin purchases by large corporations will begin when there are some certainties on the regulation of cryptocurrencies in the United States, since this is a leading market and a global financial center. The analyst also stressed that investment funds will wait for the appearance of ETFs for cryptocurrency, which are now under consideration by the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
