During the British expulsion in 1947, Kashmir was a tributary state with a Muslim majority ruled by a Hindu king. Hari Singh was the king of Kashmir at that time. One of the truths of the partition of India was that the kings of the native states of India could join India or Pakistan. The then Hindu king of Kashmir, Hari Singh, could not decide on the inclusion, so there was a constant commotion. Due to this misfortune of Hari Singh, on 22 October 1948, Pakistan-backed tribals entered Kashmir. After seeing that Hari singh became afraid. So, he wants to help general lord Mountbatten. But Mountbatten agree to help with a condition. Mountbatten said, i will help you but you will be add with India. But king Hari singh time Seikh Mohammod abdullah was very famous. Abdullah wants oneday kashmir make a freedom country. But indain govt make him chief of the state. And the indain amry entered this area. And india and Pakistan goes to war. Now, total of area india controlled 43% and Pakistan controlled 37% And China controlled 20%. India and Pakistan goes to war 3 times 1947, 1965, 1999.
