  1. Your body has infinite wisdom to heal itself. Learning to pay attention to you body, it’s sensations, + how your nervous system responds activates that wisdom.

    2. “Experts” are simply guides. They are not all knowing beings. Wellness is about becoming conscious + finding out what works best for you. It requires work + commitment.

    3. The best teachers guide you to back to your yourself. Even if it challenges their ego.

    4. When people attempt to control your behavior, what you think, or how you feel, they’re afraid. Fear activates the human compulsion to control.

    5. Trauma disconnects us from our ability to trust other people. Learning to trust ourselves is key in healing from trauma.

    6. Your nervous system is your home. Learn to listen. Learn to give it rest. Learn to place boundaries needed for it to be healthy, flexible, + resilient.

    7. All new ideas will face resistance from people who fear change— if you’re called to do something, do it. If you wait for approval, you’ll wait a lifetime.

    8. Failure is an illusion of the ego. Sometimes failure is our greatest gift because it wakes us up, it forces us to shift our path, it allows us access to humility.

    9. People who trust themselves trust others to make the decisions that are best for them.

    10. No one is coming to rescue, fix, or change you. Transformation comes to those who believe in their own power. And the more you transform, the more you see that power within everyone you meet
