Life as a football

I start my day with a muddy shower ,

Right in the early hour .

And then my owner picks me up ,

And throws me with a bang !

Then comes the time I dread the most

, Ahh ... the practice hour !

And then I get kicked and booted ,

By my own beloved crew .

They shout , cheer and say ' Hurray ' !

Whenever I get kicked into a goal ,

Yes , life as a football is hard .

But I enjoy seeing the red faces of my enemies ,

And hear their sighs and groans .

When I win , I feel the rush of pride ,

I truly know that it's worth ,

All the pain and sorrow .
