Childhood is a period of innocent happiness and unlimited joys. A hold has an ocean of possilibites before him. Which he cannot even understand. In this inability what to choose as his activity lies his confusion. That is why he shouts and cries smiles and weeps and shakes his head and body without meaning much This is the very first stage of unconscious or unfeeling pleasure and confusions. Which we may call the first experiences of childhood. It comes after babyhood.
The second stage of childhood starts at the age of six or seven. A boy or a girl develops sharper feelings and ideas. He begins reacting to outside influences more and more. He begins making his small plans and starts taking decision. Girl like to have clothes of attractive and bright colours dolls and toys of their choice. Boys like more to have tricycles and sticks bats and balls to run and play with other children. Girls have their joys of joining thir mother and elder sisters in cooking and doing bits of household work. Boys have different pleasures of running and jumping around the house on the streets and ground even if they get hurt.
The joys and pleasure of childhood therefore are mostly unconscious or unfelt. So childern whether they are playing running jumping dancing or walking with the elders in park or open places are unconscious comedies on life's vast stage. They are more like babies anduch less like grown ups But unlike babies they have their special joys and pleasures these leave indelible marks on their memories and personalities. A child takes special pleasure in observing new places. Scenes of nature homes and in meeting new people. He remembers all his life what he has seen what he has learnt from his talk with others and what enjoyments he has had for example if he climbs hills walks in sonwall and skates on plain roads his experience are new charming and unforgettable. If he or she rides a horse with his elders or sits in a chairlift or watches wild animals in zoos or outside for the first time how can he forget all this the pleasures of childhood are vired of different types and wonderful new and surprising for the young beings. But children's have their sorrowful and sad experiences too for example of earthquakes foods quarrels and illnesses. They can in any case differentiate between find the difference between their joys and sorrows easily.
