People are learning to live modern life. In terms of entertainment, the use of internet has increased after coming out of the world of old TV channels. Where earlier people used to wait up to 7 days to watch a movie, now they can easily watch it on YouTube or other digital platforms. There is no toxic advertisement to watch movies on those platforms. A previously watchable 2 hour movie has been converted into 4 hours by adding 2 more hours of ads. In this case, watching a movie would be a waste of time. But platforms like YouTube and Netflix have been able to bring these boring advertisements out of the world. But not all types of movies are available on YouTube especially the latest movies available and prime movies. Also, YouTube movies are mostly for family viewing, meaning there are no +18 scenes. But there are certain scenes without which it is difficult to understand the true concept of a movie. Also, Netflix is ​​the biggest ad-free platform for watching new movies. But Netflix is ​​losing its market day by day.

As you can clearly see in the graph, Netflix started their journey from 2008. In the beginning their market is small like other platforms but it is gradually increasing. In 2017 and 2018 Netflix is ​​at their highest level. But after 2020, it will gradually decline.

Netflix had their channel to reach all the countries of the world. Because the more they broadcast, the more their subscribers will be. According to their aim they gained good popularity all over Europe and America. Then they wanted all Asian countries under their coverage but among the biggest Asian countries, Bangladesh was not getting better Netflix than Sri Lanka and India. Netflix is ​​not widely used in our country because most of the people in the country are not very familiar with the technology. That means 80% people of India Bangladesh are poor and cannot afford to subscribe to Netflix with money. Even though many can afford it, they don't want to subscribe to English movies or culture abroad. On the other hand, in India, they run less Netflix as they have platforms like Amazon Prime, Hotstar.

Now various sites like Amazon Prime, Hotstar have been created in which you can enjoy movies and TV series through subscription. It wasn't until 2020 that Netflix reigned supreme. But now Netflix is ​​constantly losing its customers due to its competitors.

Some illegal sites

There are some illegal sites like Netflix that provide facilities like Netflix but the sites are completely free. The only reason they are allowed to watch movies for free is to earn money through ad sense. That is, even though they make the sites completely free, they add a lot of ads. Through those ads they get money as revenue from google ads sense. Although the sites are totally 'illegal' and should come under punishment, but these sites are not available in different countries and cannot attract any punishment from other countries. Due to which most of the people can enjoy new movies for free from these sites. To tell the truth, I myself am one of the users of these sites. Haha

Maybe over time Netflix's business will continue to decline, so we may not see the various mystery movies that Netflix has financed. However, the way movies made in different countries are progressing, even if Netflix cannot create platform movies, Netflix can move forward by broadcasting movies from different countries.
