Assignment- A internal pain

University life would be so much fun if there were no exams, assignments and presentations. Exams and presentations may seem simple, but assignments are very demanding. Suppose I have an exam tomorrow on a chapter, to prepare for that chapter I will find books or lectures of sir and start reading and memorizing. The presentation is exactly the same except that I have to make a slide on the given topic and present it in front of the class. The presentation assignment was more painful in the beginning but now it feels so natural. But day by day assignments are getting more difficult whereas other things are also stable.

I am briefly mentioning some points on why assignments are painful.

Assignments are like articles: writing each new article is not too difficult for me as the topics are well known to me and written with sufficient knowledge on each topic. But we have very little knowledge about the books that are taught to us in the academy. We have very little idea outside of the only topics we are taught. But when an institution like university allows us to do assignments, those topics are not taught or explained to us in advance but we have to do enough research on those topics. After going through various books all day, finding out the topic, after acquiring enough knowledge from internet and other sources, we have to write the acquired knowledge on an A4 size paper.

Assignment is no less than a research paper: Not every university makes assignment as difficult as sirs make it difficult for us. The process of writing assignments is very simple. You have to write and submit whatever you are taught in class, but for us the picture is different. When a person goes for PhD in a foreign university, it is mandatory to submit a thesis paper as a requirement. PhD is impossible without thesis paper. But 70-80% of their thesis papers contain plagiarism. They call their thesis without using any source but nowadays it is very easy to check plagiarism and the days of plagiarism are over. As a result, they are often caught and their thesis is never published in a journal.

So think, when they become teachers and claim copyright, how reasonable is it to let us do such research assignments? I feel like I'm using 99% of my brain cells when researching and writing an assignment like this. (Haha, just kidding)

Another major disadvantage of assignments is if the concentration breaks somehow (like running Facebook, watching videos on YouTube, changing Instagram profile picture, checking airdrops on Twitter, checking bitcoin cash price, writing articles on read.cash, checking free tips on noise.cash etc.) and regaining concentration becomes almost impossible. I couldn't write any article because of writing assignment yesterday. After lunch I started writing the assignment and it finished after 10 pm. I was tired enough so no more articles were written at night. So I thought today's topic should be on this assignment, tomorrow I will write about July's earnings.
