UAE deal with Israel a 'big mistake'

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has called the UAE a "big mistake" in signing an agreement with Israel aimed at normalizing relations. He made the remarks in a televised speech on Saturday.

Iran rejected the UAE-Israel deal shortly after it was announced. In a speech on Saturday, Rouhani reiterated Tehran's previous position on Palestine. He also warned Gulf states against giving Israel "a chance to set foot in the region."
