Many such satellites are not orbiting the earth

If you do a little research, you will see that rockets are often leaving the earth lately. Either the robot is being sent to Mars, or the astronauts are going to the International Space Station. Now a thing called space tourism has been introduced. On this day, four tourists came out of the orbit of the earth.

However, most of the time rockets have been launched into space to send satellites or artificial satellites. Scientists have been fearing for many years that the amount will be 'tangled'. Supriya Chakraborty, a professor of physics at the University of Massachusetts in the United States and director of the university's Center for Space Science and Technology, wrote an article on The Conversation.com. He has tried to explain how many satellites are orbiting the earth and its effects.

Supriya Chakraborty writes that the first man-made satellite was launched in 1958, the Sputnik flight from the Soviet Union, and the human community has been continuously sending satellites into orbit every year. During the second half of the twentieth century, 80 to 100 satellites were launched into space each year. Since then the amount has been increasing rapidly.

In 2020 alone, about 1,300 satellites were sent into space through 114 rocket launches. The milestone of sending thousands of satellites was surpassed in the first year of service. However, there is no comparison between 2021 and any previous year. As of September 17, about 1,400 new satellites began orbiting the Earth in 2021 alone. This rate will continue to increase over time.
