Efforts are being made to solve the problems arising in the introduction of Bangla language at all levels. In the meantime, several terminology books have been published on the initiative of Bangla Academy. Effective initiatives to introduce Bengali are also being noticed in the field of law courts and higher education. The Dictionary of Bengali Law has been edited by Justice Muhammad Habibur Rahman and Professor Anisuzzaman. Common language is being used in almost all areas including current conversations, newspapers and textbooks. Only the use of saintly language in office-courts still remains. The complexity of legal-court terminology is considered to be the main obstacle to the use of mother tongue at all levels. The lack of scientific and medical terminology is also blamed for this. Professor Sirajul Islam Chowdhury blames political indifference and lack of government initiative for the non-introduction of Bengali in all parts of Bangladesh. According to him, this division of English medium education system in schools and madrasas is equally responsible. To overcome this, he said, “We have to take initiative at the government level. Education in mother tongue should be introduced. In the same country, one type of education should be introduced for all, rich and poor, not three types of education system. In all cases, the biggest obstacle to the use of Bengali is inferiority complex. There is nothing that cannot be expressed in Bengali. Even then, after a long effort, Bengal could not be introduced in all cases. Such a comment was made by Shamsuzzaman Khan, Director General of Bangla Academy. According to Ahmad Rafiq, class interests are responsible for the non-introduction of Bengali in all cases.
