May Day is a historic day celebrated worldwide on the first of May every year. This May Day is full of bloody memories of the brutal movement for the establishment of workers' rights. About one and a half hundred years ago, through the great sacrifices of the workers, the trend of victory of the working people began. Every working man in all corners of the present world manifested in that stream of victory. In continuation of this, the great May Day is being celebrated every year all over the world.

β˜…History of May Day:

The struggle against the exploitation of labor has always been in all societies. In view of this, when slavery was abolished, the workers gradually began to get the status of their labor. But in this case no time of labor was fixed. The employers demanded 16-18 hours of labor from the workers, which they naturally could not accept. At one point the workers protested against it. The tone of their protest gradually turned into a revolution. In 180, the first American workers began a movement demanding eight hours of work. In 184 they systematically proposed to the employer to fix 8 hours of daily labor. The deadline for implementation of the proposal is May 1, 18. As many as 300,000 workers across the United States quit their jobs and took to the streets that day because their proposals did not materialize. Led by Labor leaders Joan Most, August Spiegel and Louis Ling, they organized a mass rally in Chicago on May 1. The movement spread all over the world when several workers were killed in the police firing. Workers 'rights were eventually established around the world by accepting workers' demands in the United States.
