You have to must be to know the toxicity of paracetamol.

Early Toxicity:-

>Nausea.
>Vomiting.
>Anorexia.
>Abodominal Pain.

Delayed Toxicity:-

>Hepatic Necrosis { most serious adverse effect }
>Renal tubular necrosis.
>Hypoglycaemia coma.
>Pancytopenia.
>Lekopenia.
>Skin Rash.
>Urticaria.

Do not take paracetamol in Jaundice's patient.

The pharmacological effect of paracetamol is Asitomenaphen. Metabolism of this drug occurs in the liver. In normal functioning liver cell - Acetaminophen is given in therapeutic dose has no adverse effects. But if the liver cell itself is ill this drug may cause liver intoxication and may develop hepatic failure.

  • Jaundice may develop for a different cause. One of which is hepatocellular jaundice. In hepatocellular jaundice liver cells may injure and ill.

  • so, In this stage paracetamol used should not be used as their will be a chance of developing hepatic failure.

so, If You are not sure this type of Jaundice. You will not take paracetamol in Jaundice.
